This is from former Humboldt County Supervisor Jill Duffy. I’m ready to trust that she wouldn’t mess with her reputation in order to put a slightly large paw on a bear cub. Doesn’t seem worth the possible resulting mess to me.
Optical illusion. Cameras are famous for it . For one, it’s the leg/paw closest to the camera. Two, the paw is turned at just the right angle to show off it’s full width. Three, awesome pic! Thanks. Fun fact. When bears walk they put there hind feet in the same spot as there front feet resulting in what appears to be only two footprints. I’ve seen this in the snow and it looks just like a large human walking along. Kinda creepy

Groan!
Looks more like a faux-toe-shopped paw.
But I’m sure it isn’t, because Kym posted it.

I definitely agree there is a bit of an optical illusion going on. I think it is cool.
I was thinking its paw got bit or stung a hundred times while digging. Red ants, bees, rattlers…
How many photos were taken?
My impression from this picture is the paw is being held up in a limping fashion….
Hmm.
Any interviews planned with the bear Kym, I’d love to know more.
Thus, the Bigfoot sightings.
Paw-na-ramic failure?
Gives me pause. pawsitively shocking. Hit the paws button, please.
His paws are huge I’m assuming you took this up by your house I haven’t talked to you in so long so it’s Claudia saying hello
so sad a life of growing pains…paw bear….and he seem so alone …
I wonder where is his paw?
You opened the door…now grin and bear it!
Finally, a decent picture of Bigfoot!
Perfect!
It looks to me there could be an infection of some sort. I hope not.
Bee stung.
Or maybe this is the bear that ‘fell’ on the CHP truck that caused the accident a few weeks ago and in the process it broke its paw. 😁
