Caught in the Crosshairs: Concerned CLMP Gathers Community for Meeting With Sheriff Billy Honsal, Supervisor Estelle Fennell, and Humboldt County Planning Director John Ford

CLMP FeatureConcerned about low-flying helicopters and ongoing cannabis eradication efforts, the Civil Liberties Monitoring Project (CLMP) has called a meeting Sunday, July 28 at the Mateel Community Center in Redway. Sheriff Billy Honsal, Supervisor Estelle Fennell, and Humboldt County Planning Director John Ford will be there to answer questions and hear the communities concerns.

Bonnie Blackberry, President of CLMP told us yesterday, “The National Guard helicopter really stirred a lot of stuff up with people. We just felt like it would be a good time to have a meeting. We felt it would be really good for Billy, Estelle, and John Ford to hear what the community feels. And there’s a lot of questions about what they are doing and how they are going about this.”

Blackberry said the community was particularly concerned about helicopters flying low. “Where that helicopter flew, people were really upset about it,” she said. “One of [the concerns] is flying over Beginnings School…We asked in the past to not have them go over the school…All the kids run outside to see.” Some of the children are fearful, she explained. The height the copters have been flying is problematic also, she explained. “People are saying they were below 500 feet…Circling around and around.”

She explained that the helicopter particularly those that appear to be very military in nature can trigger PTSD. “A lot of people, even our vets are traumatized,” she said.

The meeting will be a chance for those at the government level to see how their decisions affect real people, she pointed out. “They have to see for themselves.” In addition, the community will be able to ask questions of their leaders such as “How do they pick out who are going to be the subject of the raids?” Blackberry noted.

“Bring water something to drink because the kitchen is not open,” she said. She expects the meeting to last from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. “That should be plenty of time.”

Why does Estelle get a new office while we lose our local library?

The loss will be temporary. The Supervisor has been evicted from her old office for the purpose of building a whole new “campus” of buildings to be built in phases on the property of the old buildings in Garberville.

Not just her old office and the library, but also thw sheriff substation, the court, and the veterans’ hall. I dont know about the social service building.

While temporary, i don’t know what the schedule of rebuilding will be.

My source is Supervisor Fennell. Im lagging on getting these details and writing a cohesive story.

Sheriff bully boy Honsal leading the pack of pillagers against the people of Humboldt county. The people do not want the military engaged against us, we are not war criminals, I have not heard of one trespass grow being eradicated. A pack of lies to bring the military against the people, this is unjustified action and should be stopped immediately. Stop with your separating of the people of Humboldt county. Peace and freedom through civil liberties we have the right to stand up!

It amazes me to think that children are not used of low-flying helicopters in this day and age. Since the vehicle is used in other activities such as power outages and of course forest fires. Not to mention numerous video games. And yes of course pot eradication. Almost forgot air ambulance. Most young children I have come across have a curiosity about a flying machine. Some might even pursue a career in the field of aeronautics at some point in their life. I’m curious to find out what age what percentage we’re fearful.

There aren’t any HUGE grows in my neighborhood, and most of us are permitted that I know of. 2 of the neighbors have 5 hoops, another has two. I don’t have hoops, 5000 sqft of full term. The helicopter circled my house and garden slowly the went over and did the same to my neighbor. They couldn’t have been flying more than twice the height of our old growth firs. The tops of the trees were swaying from the chop.
It made me think of cutting disco balls in half and putting the hemispheres on all my fence posts.

There is definitely a difference of an Aircraft passing and being circled for an extended amount of time! Even if it’s your neighbors! It definitely evokes a different set of emotions, and reactions! Circling around the school is just absolutely low life scum actions!

Prohibitions and regulations on behavior that have no actual victim are abhorrent and should be abolished.

There should be no prohibition or regulation on production, consumption, or sales of any raw farm products.

We should be able to sell cannibis, tobacco or any other raw farm product at a farm stand like any other fruit or vegetable.

The government has created a false perception of cannibis to protect the buisness interests of a few of their elite rich croanies, and big pharma.
And religious groups dont want free thinkers amongst the flock.

Why accept the government’s pay to play philosophy on all things.
They act like they own us.

Let’s just make everything illegal to produce. Grandmas would make bank on their chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Anything with a sugar content of over 7 grams per serving can be made illegal. All sweets would be rendered to the black market.

Crazy talk. I for one am against social engineering through prohibition, even when it’s masked by government-sponsored profiteering. But don’t take things too far. Even if some folks feel compelled to uproot a portion of their clandestine cannabis gardens to plant sugar beets, others might start harvesting wild crickets or something else to barter for black market chocolate. Who knows what new environmental crisis that might precipitate?

Exactly and there are much bigger players actually controlling the game of politics, yes you could call them corporations but in that the corporations are only either the left hand of the actual players or in most cases the right hand, the corporations owned by those players. No, I’m not a fan of whatever that wingnut’s name is but our elections are most definitely not by the people, our freedoms are for the most part an illusion as well and at a price. No not the price of they myth that the military is in place to protect us from outside invasions although that may have been the idea at first it most certainly is not now. Our freedoms are now at the price of staying in line, not speaking out or against the injustices our government and their owners are guilty of.

Almost ALL governments are owned and run by money which is in fact ALL. owned by a handful of families, the Bilderbergs, Rockefellers, Rothschilds etc.. just to name a few of the bigger contributors to the fall of an actual free society. We are often driven by fear of everything, fear of not being able to provide for our families, fear of “illegal aliens” being murderers and rapists 🙄, fear of terrorists, fear of speaking up, fear of those that govern. The people who are actually running the show are extremely sick and disgusting people and we take the bait, we buy the diversion from reality every single day. We go to work for literally pennies, we believe the oblong box that has moved from the corner of the room and taken center stage in the middle of the room, we bought into racism and the belief that any other woman, child or man is better than any other, not only due to their skin color but also due to their social, economic and whatever other status exists. We do all this and much more while reality is purposely hidden from us at all costs. Wag The Dog.

After 9/11 they gave us the slogan “never forget,” but thats just it, we forget literally EVERYTHING. Never forget, never forget ANYTHING, never forget that your own government did in the the past and still does conduct the testing of many different kinds of drugs on an unknowing and unwilling population, never forget that your own government funded other country’s revolutions with the largest sales and distribution of cocaine ever, never forget that your own government funded people once called revolutionaries that today are called terrorists, your own government created that. It really is one of the oldest tricks in the book, someone pays someone for protection, in that, the one getting paid to protect will create the need for protection.

Again all of those things were distractions from reality, trust there are many, many more violations this government is guilty of and almost none of the bad puppets or their puppet masters have ever or ever will be made to answer for their wrong doings. I’m sure this comment will be laughed at by many and even a few folks will tell me to take off my tinfoil hat but that’s ok. I can’t remember what it was about but I watched a video recently that was older, some government official says something along the lines of, “ there has never been and will never be a conspiracy in this country.” Are you serious?!?! Really?!?! As if conspiracies are this mythical creature like a unicorn.

Conspiracies happen in this country every single day, on every level, from the corner boys selling dope, to the people down the street, to the police, judges, lawyers, local, state and fed representatives, all the way up to the tippy top of the actual puppet masters as previously mentioned. Am I saying that it’s all one single conspiracy, ultimately all tied together by some intricate web? Nope not at all but people say, “that’s a looney conspiracy theory, what the he’ll do you think is going on?” To be honest I think it’s much more odd to believe that out of all the conspiracy theories out there, not one of them is true. Really? That’s like saying you can never get a blackjack.

Seek truth. Your government does it’s best to hide the truth from you every day but don’t buy it, seek the truth, follow the money and truly never forget the extremely bad things your own government does to you. They do NOT have our best interests in mind, they can’t.

“You can’t be neutral on a moving train.”

You are heard loud and clear., 4D7.

People are waking up to the illusion with abatements and local governments signed on to the private public partnership.

Your voice is appreciated and needed to keep the alarm bells ringing.

If not for us, then for the children who are being trained in the ways that will create a group of people that will hit the green light on death panels, forced sterilization, and everything else in the name of saving the planet.

I admit we all have to do a better job at how much we consume, and look to those massive corporationa that produce poison and call it food.

There is no freedom when poverty minimizes your access to good food. Agrarian life and local farmers have been feeding people since we stopped hunting and gathering.

We ignore the right to farm our little patches as the end of an era.

We are humans, we are prone to poor choices with excessive drugs alcohol and sugar, and we have forgotten our moral compass.

“Let our people grow ”

Stop the corporation destruction of our environments as well.

We can’t bitch about environmental degradation if we don’t address the people creating the poisons in the first place.

The responsibility of corporate good food practices and the independent persons good food practices are vItal in addressing a deeper problem we face.

Consolidation of power.

The only constant that we can all agree on.

Keep up the good fight..

A Springfield XD does make for a good duty pistol I have to admit, but that .45 feels so good in the hand, lobs a nice hunk of lead too. My personal favorite is a Smith and Wesson 686 .357 with a 6″ barrel, the round is a bit hot and the piece a bit heavy for an everyday carry though.

No, Trump is not to blame for this, democrats running things ruin them. Democrats have hurt so many in this state, schools 48th, high taxes which hurt the poor, high food prices, 60,000 plus homeless in LA alone, people leaving for a better republican state by the millions, businesses leaving by the thousands, what a mess. Trump has lowered black and hispanic unemployment, there are more than 6 million jobs created by this administration, hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs have come back to US. Remember when the Bamer asked what trump would do to bring them back, wave a magic wand? No, stupid, Trump out worked you, and has turned this economy around. People who vote democrat, progressive, caused this war on pot. Tax tax tax, this is what you get, let’s change it, vote republican.

Subject: Hospital Visit

Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. “I’m afraid I’m the bearer of bad news,” he said as he surveyed the worried faces.

“The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant.

It’s an experimental procedure, very risky, but it is the only hope.

Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the BRAIN.

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a time, someone asked, “How much will a brain cost?”

The doctor quickly responded, “$5,000 for a Democrat’s brain; $200 for a Republican’s brain.”

The moment turned awkward. Some of the Democrats actually had to try not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the Republicans.

A man unable to control his curiosity, finally blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, “Why is the Democrat’s brain so much more than a Republican’s brain?”

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, “It’s just standard pricing procedure. We have to price the Republicans brains a lot lower because they’re used.”

It seems the most consistant stream of hate comes from those purporting to be liberal. And the ones most resistant to looking anything up. The deep south was rigidly Democrat until the Civil Rights Act passed. So much so that they were known as Yellow Dog Democrats- as in they would vote for a yellow dog if it was a Democrat. “For nearly a century after Reconstruction, the white South identified with the Democratic Party.” “The Democratic Party no longer acted as the champion of segregation.” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_the_Southern_United_States

What so many liberals chortle over as showing the superiority of their views is really the result of losing a bitter war, with its aftermath of revenge, hate and idenity politics. All things espoused by the liberals everywhere these days. Those confusing history with evil are ever going to recreate evil. “”One of the most important reasons for studying history is that virtually every stupid idea that is in vogue today has been tried before and proved disastrous before, time and again.” ~ Thomas Sowell”

My licensed pilot son, who flies locally with a watchful eye on his altimeter, observed the Blackhawk flying at 300 ft. or lower in the Perry Meadow area. He’s not prone to exaggeration. With modern digital cameras there is no reason to fly under 1000 ft. This is the minimum height you would expect for a general aviation craft. I suspect the real reason is
voyeurism, plane and simple.

“Community Caught in the Crosshairs”

~has a nice ring, don’t you think?

“Sheriff Billy Honsal, Supervisor Estelle Fennell, and Humboldt County Planning Director John Ford will be there to answer questions . . . ”

Oh paleeeze. The ONLY thing to demand is a certified copy of their Oath. Challenge jurisdiction, not the irrelevant claims.

“The meeting will be a chance for those at the government level to see how their decisions affect real people,”

~go back to sleep Bonnie, who do you think you’re kidding w/your civil liberties claptrap?

Call it what it IS – the Delphi method on the highway to hell.

Something special is happening right now, the people are waking up…

~through this process, we can see these acts for what they are and do something about them. There will be much to process, but it is up to the people to do so in a grounded and heart-based manner vs the violent and judgmental manner you might see from the perpetrators themselves.

I totally agree with cenhum. What I want to convey is that an oath means nothing ( to me ) without honor. Politics is a perfect example of no honor. All are self serving, they want the haves and have nots. The have nots will be the worker bees for the haves. People are waking up but some are scared, not knowing really what to do. Something is comming but what? What about my kids, way of life? Change is scary for many. You have a mind folks, use it. We are in the crosshairs. Being told over and over how to live, what is correct, and many are doing what everyone else is doing. From the gun and ammo debate to Growing food. They have been after mind control in the 50s. H.A.R.P. I swear, it is Demolition man come to life and we are the people who live underground. No Joke, I use the movie as an easy reference to whats going down.

Central, I agree to disagree! I sincerely applaud and Appreciate Bonnie’s commitment to civil liberties and arranging this meeting. If you want to demand a certified copy of thier Oath.. all the more power to you Central! Bring it on down! I agree with you Pissed off Marine, an Oath is Nothing w/o Honor! If commitments are not being honored they need to be publicly called to attention! And reminded of exactly what’s at stake, and who T.H.E.Y. Are affecting!

~it’s like Amy Goodwin’s show “Democracy Now.” Began with good intentions, but in Amy’s case, she sold out a decade ago. And you already know how i think about democracy.

It isn’t Bonnie’s commitment i question, it’s what she thinks she knows, but doesn’t.

Civil rights come from Congress -hence, can be taken away.
Your unaLIENable rights come from your Creator.

Isn’t it time to quit banging heads against the brick wall that shows the same dysfunctional picture of the past? If you insist on continuing to invest energy in the old paradigm you must expect what you have had in the past.

The only reason why many have not been able to step into that full power and light is because of the intensity of the density of form they identify with.

Your energy comes first. Matter follows.

Good day Central Hum; OH paleeeze. The only thing to demand is a copy of their OATH and to challenge not only jurisdiction but their authority to over rule the State Constitution, everything else is irrelevant. I like that, lets get down to why THEY even believe THEY have control over our lives, when Article 1 section 1 of our State Constitution says we are free, independent with liberty guaranteed. THEY probably wont have a copy of their should be sacred OATH of office so going to quote here for those who might not know what it says: Article 20 section 3 of the our State Constitution. I, ________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of CALIFORNIA against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the state of California; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I am about to enter. OK that’s a pretty heavy duty promise isn’t it? So lets ask them if they remember ever taking said OATH, OR read it to them and ask how they are going to HONOR that OATH to the citizen that THEY are suppose to make HAPPY. Central Hum’ has there ever been a HAPPINESS case brought before the courts? I’ve looked but nothing. To get jurisdiction over us they need your all capital name, address and do you understand the charges. With jurisdiction then THEY assume authority over us. I have never met Bonnie but that question she said we should ask is a softball question. I would say something like this: Article 1 section 1 of California’s Constitution states: All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy. Ask THEY what freedom, liberty, inalienable rights and HAPPINESS ( I really like that word) mean to THEY. If fining people $10,000/day is legal (probably yes) BUT not LAWFUL. Article 1, section 17 states: Cruel or unusual punishment may not be inflicted or excessive fines imposed. A similar amendment is in the U.S. Constitution, and I believe the Supreme Court voted 9-0 that said the same thing. So what gives Supes, planning dept, code enforcement., are you following your OATH to make me HAPPY with the possibility of being abated for growing tomatoes in a smart pot, or having a greenhouse to grow nursery stock, winter vegy’s. Or what about paying to use our own water, is that constitutional? I have more in your face questions but this is getting long. Lets ask them some really to the point questions and maybe get some good answers. Press THEY on their OATH of office.

Good afternoon to you, Poor Farmer,

~here’s an interesting little ditty from October 2017, when Honsal was “Under Sheriff” according to Transparent California salary records. This is the 15-18 month period (depending on perspective of June 2018 primary), when Billy was “Appointed” as wannabe Sheriff by the Supes (NOT on their job description) . . . . and yet, here he is in this short performance, swearing in Deputies. I Call sh!t of the bull. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aj3PoNKc-UI 2 mins. max.

What i was seeking was Honsal’s Oath-taking ceremony. There wasn’t any ‘Sheriff’ swearing-in ceremony at the Supe’s meeting that dark spring day in 2017. Why? Becuz, he wasn’t elected as Sheriff, and two, he’s still titled as “Under Sheriff” for 2017.

Estelle did what she had to do neutralize the opposition and send them home. After her browbeating of the concerned citizens she then put on happy face and said how much she cared about us all. (Notice the classic pattern of mental abuse and brainwashing). She talked all about her wonderful new program for all of us- her “Permit Program Lite” or whatever…It would be an easy process for the small people and blah blah blah. THAT WAS THE LAST WE EVER HEARD ABOUT THAT FICTIONAL PROGRAM..
And then the abatements resumed and continued. Now the National Guard helicopters are flying. My guess is that Estelle is just running down the clock until there are not enough people left to oppose the situation. And she will say whatever is required to calm down the legitimately pissed-off commoners. Now is not the time to calm down. And now is not the time to give her any more respect or listen to her lies…I used to heavily respect and back her up to detractors. But that was before she sided with the mega-grows and the feds in the eradication of small scenes.

Lies, Lies, damn Lies. We all have read about the lies estelle has spoken to us about. What if you had a neighbor or a friend who lied to you all the time, would you even trust anything that person ever said again, probably not. So why do we even want to listen to what Honsal, bohn, estelle, ford even have to say. there will be a good chance it will be a lie. In a court if you have lied before your statements from there on should not be allowed ever. I think it is John 8:44 that says it all about people who lie all the time.

Virtually all caselaw on helicopter surveillance has been made in the context of the ganja war.

Time and again the rights our government was instituted to protect have been discarded because it’s so important, apparently, to “fight drugs.”

The courts have ruled that helicopter overflights do not constitute a “search” as the term is used in the 4th Amendment. If an LEO is in a place he has a right to be, he can look around and see what he sees.

Even when that “place” is hovering 100 feet over your property–a highly unusual place for anyone to be, and no less invasive than a person standing 100 feet away on your property operating an enormous, deafening machine that you can feel in your chest. Yes, there’s supposed to be a 500-foot floor–but there’s a drug war exception for that!

The notion that a Huey circling your property just above the treetops isn’t a search and isn’t harassment only makes sense if you’ve never experienced it and/or if you bear a special grudge toward weed culture. But congrats! The courts agree with you–for now.

CITIES AND COUNTIES CANNOT DO UNLAWFUL SEARCH AND SEIZURE

Steagald v. United States, 68 L.Ed.2d 38 Held: 2. The search in question violated the Fourth Amendment, where it took place in the absence of consent or exigent circumstances. (a) Absent exigent circumstances or consent, a home may not be searched without a warrant (c) A search warrant requirement will not significantly impede effective law enforcement efforts, no warrant is required to apprehend a suspected felon in a public place. Moreover, the exigent-circumstances doctrine significantly limits the situations in which a search warrant is needed. And in those situations in which a search warrant is necessary, the inconvenience incurred by the police is generally insignificant. In any event, whatever practical problems there are in requiring a search warrant they cannot outweigh the constitutional interest at stake in protecting the right of presumptively innocent people to be secure in their homes from unjustified, forcible intrusions by the government. The purpose of a warrant is to allow a neutral judicial officer to assess whether the police have probable cause to make an arrest or conduct a search. As we have often explained, the placement of this checkpoint between the Government and the citizen implicitly acknowledges that an officer engaged in the often competitive enterprise of ferreting out crime, Johnson v. United States, 333 U.S. 10, 13-15 (1948), at 14, may lack sufficient objectivity to weigh correctly the strength of the evidence supporting the contemplated action against the individual’s interests in protecting his own liberty and the privacy of his home. Warrantless search or arrest can ONLY occur IN A PUBLIC PLACE during ‘hot pursuit.’ In all other cases, a fair, neutral and detached judicial officer determines FROM THE COMPLAINT that a warrant should issue based upon the commission OF A FELONY.

This is where the public’s ignorance is used by robbers posing as code enforcement, etc.

Keep in mind, there is no magic paperwork. WE are the change.

Now i'm going to have to eat some of my words . . . as i have had the pleasure of meeting two lawyers here in Humboldt County who ARE, straight-up, good people. They both laid it on the table -oh so eloquently- that we can continue to 'postpone' (via continual litigation), OR, we come together as we did in the beginning – to halt CalTrans destruction (101), thru Richardson Grove. –I also know of one magistrate here in Humboldt County, who recognizes the living man, or woman in my case, when we bring common law in with us.

"It is not to the moderation and justice of others we are to trust for fair and equal access to market with our products, or for our due share in the transportation of them; but to our own means of independence and the firm will to use them." –Report of Secretary of State on Trade and Tariff, December 16, 1793.

Off topic . . . on subject July 27th

“Those who truly control the levers . . . are doing everything they can to feed a sense of normalcy bias in the population . . .”

Ponzi scheme financial markets continue to be propped up by central banks that manufacture money from thin air. At the same time research funds are being slashed from key science circles that report from the front-lines of biosphere collapse. Those who truly control the levers of global power are doing everything they can to feed a sense of normalcy bias in the populations until the last possible moment.

Will unfolding global events and the efforts of ever more dedicated activists be enough to wake the masses in time?

With all that is occurring in the world, it can be tempting to turn away. But now more than ever we must keep our stride in the all important effort to awaken populations. If we can achieve a critical mass of public awareness before those in power are ready for that to happen, we can still make a difference.

Share credible data from a credible source, make your voice heard, make every day count.

The militaristic assault on pot-growers rather than an emphasis on polluters, and cartels, gangs and other organized crime says it all: It’s a ruthless capitalistic (as opposed to free enterprise) effort to control yet another mass market.

It’s really not much different than The United Fruit Co. and other cartel banana-growers using the CIA to enforce coups and assassinations to establish monopolistic American economic colonial hegemony. In Humboldt, they just cannot rape, torture and murder like the CIA did in Central and South America.

What is happening in The Emerald Triangle is a sign of the virulent malignancy of an empire that has metastasized and is destroying itself.

Yet there is a mostly unwritten history to the conflict that still haunts us today, and it has its roots in alcohol.

In an effort to make alcohol king, the federal and state governments obeyed their corporate “spirit” masters and made Moonshiners illegal. They made the production and distribution of alcohol too expensive, except for the richest corporations. All kinds of small breweries and spirit-makers went out of business.

Kind of like what is happening now in the “legal” and “illegal” marijuana industry.

The mom-and-pops were sacrificed for the rich corporate interests. This divide will become clearer in future years, although there may be a future in artisan Humboldt Homegrown.

These corporate interests impressed upon multiple presidential administrations and all the federal bureacracies that mattered, that there were “grave dangers” to smoking marijuana.

Why, if everyone smoked a joint rather than drank a beer, it would turn America into the land of hope and honey, not bombs and napalm.

It would make people get in circles at The Arcata Plaza and sing “Imagine,” like we did when John Lennon was gunned down.

Heck, people who smoked pot would be no better than those feral hippies in San Francisco and Northern California. They’d start listening to The Grateful Dead, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and worse!

And we couldn’t have that, could we?

So “they” (multiple political administrations of both parties, government bureacracies and corporate interests) made marijuana into the great evil that it is not.

All the while hoping Americans wouldn’t know how many people died of liver failure, cancer and other diseases.

Alcohol’s victims are unknowable for many of you reading this, but they number in the millions.

Yet each of those millions has a name.

One of them my was dear older brother, who succumbed to liver failure because of his decision to drink alcohol.

It was not all the pot he smoked in his younger days that killed him; it was liver failure because of an addiction to alcohol.

Although not a homesteader, he was an early grower of marijuana, so I saw first hand the abandonment of laissez-faire that had characterized much of this country’s growth.

The homesteaders who headed to Humboldt in the 1960s were initially welcomed until they started growing pot, and that’s when the empire put The Emerald Triangle in its militaristic and law-enforcement sights.

The empire just could not afford people turning on to marijuana and off to alcohol. Too much profit was at stake. So the first stages of the Marijuana Wars started and its useless militaristic campaign continues today. New faces and new names. Same old crap.

And the heroin, cocaine, opioids and meth are available to any who want to ruin their lives — and there are many who will take an escape only to never, ever be able to climb back.

Marijuana, not so much.
