Marijuana Enforcement Team in the Hyampom Area Today

ConvoyAfter receiving reports of a law enforcement convoy parked “at top of Titlow Hill,” we’ve confirmed with Lt. Mike Fridley of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office that the County’s Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET–formerly DEU, the Drug Enforcement Unit) is in the Hyampom area today serving a search warrant on an unpermitted grow.

One eyewitness described seeing about 10 vehicles including unmarked SUV’s. Fridley said that along with MET, there were members of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Humboldt County Planning Department, and Cal Fire.

“A search warrant”. As in one? Hmm… And what is the role of Cal-Fire again in these raids? Did the state offer them a fund-raising regulatory fine that they can collect? Because their being a part of these raids is not a great public relations thing. They were the one state agency that everybody played well with- as they stayed out of weed politics and focused on …Fire! I can only imagine that as Cal Fire enters a punitive arrangement they will find many gates closed against them and many people not cooperating with them. It’s called “erosion of public trust” and it is sad to see.

I noticed them blatantly using cal-fire planes and helicopters last year in pre-raid reconnaissance and in fly overs on the day of raids. From a state stand point it makes sense to use all their resources when not needed elsewhere but it is horrible public relations.

flying recon blindly for whatever they can see?? I see that a a total violation of our fourth amendment rights guaranteed by the constitution of the united states. An oath taken by popo, political office and military .” Support and defend the constitution again all enemies, forien and domestic” Shame on cal-fire !! 40 years ago they were respected. Now they have jumped the fence to the other side. Someone has really pissed off leo’s to warrant them to keep going back. Someone needs to stop ! My beloved country is turning into a place where nothing is for or by the people. So very sad.

Despite the rebranding from CDF to Calfire, that agency still enforces timber harvest regulations.

Fair enough. Guess I missed the rebranding. So it is CalFire now that inspects THPs and approves them? I still think they are the one state agency even growers approve of and that teaming up with the sheriff on busts works against all of our long-term interests. Like here’s an example- if a small fire breaks out and CalFire is attempting entry…people may fall trees to block the road and deny entry. On scenes past where greenhouses existed and fire broke out nearby CalFire acted in a way that earned them the trust of a suspicious community. Fire is our common enemy! I think their collusion on weed raids erodes that goodwill. It is sad and concerning. I hope they rethink this approach…

CalFire is just interested in the timber harvest violations. They could walk on to any property at any time for timber violations right past greenhouses and not give a crap, they are just joining the safety in numbers party to do their bit.

I see the perception issue, but the Cal fire people with these LEO’s are foresters not fire fighters.

As different as USFS LEO’s and USFS fire crews.

They all do the same, but aren’t FG guys and leo s Wearing badges and Firearms? Why the arms if your on a fire? Put yourself if you are on flames and not going out? I really dont think so. Where did Taxation w/out representation (Meas Z) begin?

Where was last year’s “Town Hall Meeting” regarding their Ordinance Tax w/out the consent of the governed?

I trimmed once up on Titlow. Everyone was high on meth and drank beer like water. Couple of creeps walking around with rifles all night to intimidate the trimmers who wernt high on meth and who wanted to sleep. Top it all off , i was shorted on payment by one of the tweeker owners. Greed fest up there.

They kept the GratefulDead blaring 24\7 tho. This was to present the illusion that they were actually hippies not grossly self interested parasites of the earth.

Just because someone is a dead head that doesn’t mean they are hippies.

The hippies Im aware of drive brand new teslas, live in San Rafael and run shit.
They arent running a grow on titlow.

That grow and its neighbors are run by local notorious drug thugs that shit where they eat.

The Grateful Dead was known as a psychedelic band. LSD in it’s veins. But what people conveniently forget is that the Grateful Dead were also a speed-freak band. How do you think they got all that equipment from coast to coast? Owsley made his first big money manufacturing and distributing methamphetamines. That’s where the close connection to the Hells Angels came in as Owsley worked with them to distribute first his speed and then his LSD. What about Cassidy- a speed freak of legendary fame and a hero to deadheads….So…Meth and the Grateful Dead really do go hand in hand. I know- people don’t want to believe it but it’s true.

Different times…. The Grateful Dead was a spiritual awakening for all the people involved. The Hells Angels were used as crowd control. “Farce” is rewriting history in a way that sounds true but is not. Stop throwing shit out there you no nothing about first hand. The hells angels moved dope on their own. Bear had nothing to do with it. LCD and coke on the other hand.!.

Owsley moved all of his first batches of LSD through his friends in the HA. He preferred them. The “spiritual awakening” was a flash in the pan, a few golden years between speed and cocaine and then heroin acceptance. Most old deadheads- Avalon and Carousel Ballroom era- also used speed. The beat culture was deep into speed. And the Wall of Sound was moved around by meth. People don’t talk about it much. Check out that book “Owsley” released a couple years ago. Bear’s early history finally written down. He cooked up methamphetamines and got his roommates to shoot it. That’s why the rumors that his later LSD might have a little speed to it. That’s why the secret history of the Grateful Dead is that they were also a subculture of speed freaks. Uncomfortable and inconvenient as that is…

I had no expectations of the dope cult on titlow. These men who ran the grow were taught these behaviors from the big winners of the money game here like donnie trump. The legal growers will devistate the area far worse than any tweeker hillbillys. Any fool knows that.

Tax payer. Your comment is full of erroneuos ideas in regaurd to my mention of Trump. Trumps merely a puppet of the elite who plays the big winner of the American Dream. He sets a global precedent in their puppet show. He spreads fear, ignorance , hate and greed. Ultimately to destabillize sheeple like you into thinking that these trends (fear hate greed ignorance) justify the means to social upliftment. Similiar to how George JR spread the prescedent of mediocrity to the people. Walking into doors and being an obvious simpleton. All meant to divide and conquer the masses into a weakened state of subjectivity , where we blame each other for our problems. Not the tyrants on top who are actually screwing our lives up. Tyrants hiding behind figure head puppets like your boy Donnie.

There is a valid point buried among Hyh’s rambling, that the government string-pullers have their control of Trump dialed in. He’s just a marketing tool for their agenda now. Those who want a war with Iran have an excellent chance of getting it, even though Trump campaigned against stupid foreign adventures.

My comment was actually in appreciation of ol boy bringing me the veggie burger. I found it ironic the veggie burger in one hand and tool of death in the other. The Dead are hugely over rated in this area btw. Jerry is not some sort of light worker , he’s just a dude with a guitar.
I don’t condemn the dudes i worked for out there. Im just saying that making a ganja trim scene a sort of meth , beer no sleep camp is no good. This individuals were also very interested in money to the point that I saw many bad moves made. One of the guys out there who a lot of the local people most likely know , garners a lot of respect from me to this day. He also complains about the tweeking and bull shit on his hill. He never carries a rifle or tries to intimidate people , he just keeps his shit small and uses the same people every year. The dudes a real hermit with an actual moral compass.

Now that mountain lion out there who stalked me on several occasions may put fear enough into some to carry a gun constantly , which I can understand. Same with theives, just dont intimadaste people you are basically trying to trust was my point.

~the Revolution line has been crossed (some of you have seen the word ‘Revolution’ reversed to where the ‘love’ is highlighted, yes)? ch.

“When the people fear the government we have tyranny. When the government fears the people we have liberty.”

It’s our move.

“It is not every act, legislative in form, that is law. Law is something more than the will exerted as an act of power . . Arbitrary power, enforcing its edicts to the injury of the person and property of its subjects is not law.”
Hurtado v. Calif., 110 US 515 (1984).

Shuttlesworth v. Birmingham 373 US 262.

No state shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and attach a fee to it.
“A state may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by Federal constitution.”
Murdock v. Pennsylvania, 319 US 105 at 113 (1943).

“If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. “We are involved in the search warrant process related to illegal timberland conversion and not involved for the purpose of marijuana eradication. ”
This is the same reply the State Water Board, F&G, and everyone uses. Substitute timberland conversion into water diversion, animal endangerment, health quality, or.code enforcement. So they aren’t involved in the actual cutting down of the plants, okay. Is Cal Fire issuing citations, tickets, and or fees with the other agencies? Gonna be funny when all 235 state agencies show up to raid a 100 plant farm. And it will happen once they all figure out how.
