Return of the Ewok (And He Has a Quest for You)

Considering that without the Ewoks, the Rebels wouldn’t have been able to destroy the Death Star, when one of them asks a favor…well, it seems courteous to try and help.

Kevin Thompson, the actor who played several Ewok parts in Return of the Jedi (and the other Ewok movies) is visiting the North Coast while writing his memoir. He is in Eureka gathering information. According to the Humboldt Del Norte Film Commission’s Facebook page,

We’ve been helping him out with a little bit of research for his upcoming memoir. We’ve had a bit of a problem finding photos for him of Smith River and Crescent City from 1982 when they were filming Return of the Jedi. So, we’d like to ask the public to help us crowdsource some photos for Kevin. If you have a photo that you think would be what he’s looking for, please email [email protected].
