15-Year-Old Found in Car of Woman Arrested For 5.75 Pounds of Suspected Meth Sales

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On July 21st, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Special Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of a narcotic detection K9 with the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3400 block of Highway 36, Hydesville. During their multi-week investigation, agents received information the owner of the vehicle, Sherrie Rosalee Bazan (age 37), is distributing methamphetamine throughout Humboldt County. Agents also secured a search warrant for Bazan’s residence located in the 1000 block of Searles Street, Eureka.

During the traffic stop, Bazan was detained without incident. Also present inside the vehicle was a 15 year old juvenile. Agents searched Bazan’s vehicle and located approximately 5.75 pounds of suspected methamphetamine in the trunk. Bazan was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility was booked for transportation of controlled substances across multiple counties, possession of controlled substances for sales, and child endangerment. The juvenile was released to a responsible party.

During the search of Bazan’s residence agents located digital scales, packaging materials, and items commonly referred to as “pay and owe” notes. In addition, agents located over $2,000 in U.S. currency that is believed to be profits from narcotics sales. This currency was seized and will be held pending asset forfeiture proceedings.

Anyone with information related to this investigation or other narcotics related crimes are encouraged to call the Humboldt County Drug Task Force at 707-267-9976 or the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 707-268-2539.

You will have to ask Satan how much it is worth, it is his making. Basically, it is worth death, zits, loss of teeth, liver and kidney damage, and loss of bone density. It is worth whatever the users can get for all the stuff they steal from us. You know, like our heirloom jewelry, tools and equipment, cars, guns, anything these animals can get their hands on, to give to their beloved dealer for the poison that hurts all of us. We say, let the asshole go, follow her to her dealer, bust them, let them go, follow them, bust the next bigger dealer, until we have them all locked up. When the biggest meth person shows up, shoot them, like in the Phillipines.

The biggest meth person most likely resides in Mexico, unless we’re still thinking that pounds of meth are manufactured in the hills of Humboldt.

You are right that (some of) the biggest may reside in Mexico.
But they are not Mexicans. They are Chinese.
Our trading partners.

Chinese-Mexican man at center of $205 million seizure could be extradited to Mexico in days –

WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) – A Chinese-Mexican businessman accused of drug trafficking could be handed over by U.S. authorities to Mexican authorities as early as next week as he has nearly exhausted his legal options, ending a years-long extradition battle, his lawyer told Reuters.

A picture taken from a video projected on a screen shows Zhenli Ye Gon, during a press conference held by his lawyers in Washington, July 18, 2007. REUTERS/Jason Reed
Zhenli Ye Gon’s July 2007 arrest in the United States and the seizure of $205 million in cash at his Mexico City home several months earlier, played a role in high-profile money laundering investigations by U.S. authorities at the British banking giant HSBC and the Las Vegas Sands Corp. casino company.

U.S. prosecutors charged Ye Gon, the former owner of the now defunct Mexican pharmaceutical wholesaler Unimed Pharm Chem, with importing chemicals that cartels allegedly used to produce the illegal drug methamphetamine. Ye Gon’s attorney, Gregory Smith, says his client was a legitimate businessman.

The case collapsed in 2009 after key witnesses recanted or refused to testify, according to court records. Since then, Ye Gon has been imprisoned in a Virginia jail, held on the basis of an extradition request from Mexico, where he faces charges of drug trafficking and money laundering.

Ye Gon’s attorney Gregory Smith, has fought extradition, arguing in court that Ye Gon would likely be tortured or killed if he returns to Mexico. Earlier this month, Ye Gon, 53, all but exhausted his legal options when a federal appeals court in Richmond, Virginia rejected a bid to have his extradition reconsidered.

The court ruled that it could not interfere with the decision of the U.S. State Department, which decided last year that Ye Gon should be handed over to Mexico.

John Kirby, a State Department spokesman, declined to comment on the case, but said that before deciding to extradite someone, the U.S. government must be satisfied an individual would not be tortured and would receive a fair trial.

In a last ditch effort, Smith said in an interview he will ask the U.S. Supreme Court for an emergency stay of the extradition next week. But unless the Supreme Court immediately intervenes, U.S. authorities could put Ye Gon on a plane to Mexico, Smith said.

A Justice Department spokesman said that if there is no further court mandated delay, the United States can move forward with the extradition. Ye Gon is a Chinese national born in Shanghai with Mexican citizenship.

Mexico’s foreign ministry declined to comment.

I read that where the mexican speed hasn’t made it& they still make it themselves, like in parts of Appalachia, one of the precursor chemicals comes from the Dollar Stores’ #1 selling item: Blue Ice packs, only thing keeping the stores open.

Serious and legitimate question:

Did the sheriffs have any reason to believe the juvenile was also involved in the distribution? Where I came from, it’s not uncommon for the minors to be the street-level distributors in these situations, often riding along with the transporter to either get from one sales-point to another and/or to more intimately learn the trade.

Can someone explain what exactly is a “pay to owe” note and how used?

Pay to owe = US tax system

However, you misread; it’s not “pay to owe” it’s “pay and owe.” A pay and owe sheet, as in who owes her money (think product being fronted) and what has been paid (possibly on her end, possibly on the clients end, as in “X” person paid “$X” on “X” date and still owes “$X”.)

Basically, it’s a dumb way to further incriminate oneself and also give leads to the police.

The 15 year old a relative or otherwise had some other more normal association with the adult?
Or is she being trafficked, like the cartel meth that was in the car? Was the minor a missing person? This would be important detail to know.

Pay and owe, basic records of drug dealings, who has paid and who still owes, or who you owe to, etc. usually in some form of basic code, in case, well, in case the cops get them. Or so I’ve been told. Oh, and here’s one to The Real Brian, Australia, Brian, Australia.

Really, really glad this person was arrested and taken off the street. Excellent job LEO’s! Hopefully she’ll be in prison for a couple of decades. If it turns out she was using the 15 year old as part of her distribution network, she needs to be in prison for the rest of her life.

Amphetamines are commonly prescribed to children with ADD, and to military personel in combat zones. Can’t be all bad, eh?

you better beleive it . the best preformance is chemicially enhanced preformance . if it wasnt an enhancer why would it matter what sports player used what ? just about every historical person that is accredited with ground breaking discoveries in sicence used some formof mind altering or enhancing drug. most famous music was written by people that were high on one thing or another. over 50 percent of the us population is on some form of antiphsyic or anti depressiant so tell me again just how bad drug users are ? most of the ones you are refering to are self medicating , yet as times march on little is done to correct tje reasoning for the medicating however the doseages change as do the drugs. keep them drugged to the poibt of numbness so they dont realise the suffering they are being delt. the whole time preach upon how bad it is to end that suffering by deciding to no longer play a game that is rigged and checking out. keep them fighting against each other over petty things and offer them trinkets like gold watches for being good little troopers. dangle little things like vacations in front of them and pay them just enough that if they go into debt they can afford to take 5 or 6 in their lifetimes.

US Military determined caffine and sugar in combination to be the best stimulant with the least side effects. However I have read that amphetamines were precribed to pilots during the Afghan invasion.
Nazi era Germany was all cranked out. At the beggining of the war you could get meth at the Pharmacy. towards the end troops suffered shortages, and there was many a letter home asking for mom to send some more. The Nazi doctors also developed what would become oxycontins, Eukadol. Hitler was pumped full of weird concoctions including some not-so-vegetarian bull semen mixtures. Some historians think he was so blindly confident of the outcomes of the war because of all the heroin and other drugs he was on.

Most of the bad side effects we see are due to contamiments and the horrible nutrition of users. Pharmaceutical amphetemines are so much less harmful. This is the problem with prohibition.
If people were allowed to indulge their substance desires with clean drugs purchased at cost, 90% of the associated problems would vanish

Some of the comments on LOCO about this woman are misogynistic. Whatever you think of this woman, some of the comments on LOCO shouldn’t be allowed even in Thunderdome. I don’t know if Kym moderates all comments, but they are much better. That’s why I’ll check LOCO every so often and I will start checking Kym’s site much more frequently.

This is not ok for children.

This poison is straight from hell.

The judge should throw the book at her.
