Bear in Buttercups and Daisies
Yesterday, former Humboldt County Supervisor Jill Duffy captured this visitor putting on it’s sweetest face and trying to look cuddly. In spite of its size, we think it succeeded.
Do you have photos you’ve captured of critters looking cute? (Yes, your dog counts.)

This bear is pretty cute, but I think it should be shampooed before anyone throws their arms around it in a hug.
Twins
I love the deer. I find myself worrying for the young ones when I don’t see them for a while! Natures rough.
Bear food twins
I haven’t seen as many as usual this year. I miss them, too.

Ooh
Sandpiper Chick
If that doesn’t cheer you up, there’s no hope!
The starring bear here looks a little cross-eyed. Wonder if s/he was just looking at a fly on the nose, or …? Quite an adorable bear, too, looks like a healthy thick coat!
I love bears, but am sad when there get to be too many of them and they come around people and then people end up shooting or trapping them. Too bad nature doesn’t have a compassionate birth control that kicks in when there are too many individuals for the available environment.
Jill Duffy’s pic is adorable !!
One more try!
My cat was not happy with our visitor — a one-handed nursing mama raccoon.
