[UPDATE 11:38 p..m.: Found!] Searchers Are Scouring Ferndale for a Missing Woman With Down’s Syndrome
A woman with Down’s syndrom is missing in the Ferndale area. “We want Ferndale residents to check your property, back yards, barns, and outbuildings,” states a post on the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department made at 10:39 p.m. “We are conducting a search door to door…for a 34 year old female with Downs Syndrome who is missing.”
According to the post, the woman is “wearing a pink long sleeve shirt with blue jeans and rainbow shoes… .” The post says she is a resident on Rose Avenue.
The Fire Department is asking that residents share this information.
No photo of the missing woman has yet been released.
We’ve requested more information from the Ferndale Police Department and will update when possible.

The Ferndale Fire Department posted, “She has been found safe and well, and reunited with her family. Ferndale Fire would like to thank everyone for helping in search efforts and sharing the story.”
