Following on the heels of yesterday’s 5.6 quake, the little tremor hardly raised an eyebrow.
UPDATE 5:10 p.m.: USGS has adjusted the size of the quake to 3.9.

Keep the little ones coming! Hopefully the small ones will hold off any of the larger magnitude quakes.

I wish that was the way it work too but from what I’ve been told it doesn’t make any difference I would think letting off steam like that would be less likely that we have a big one but I remember reading the expert said no
Its just a toss up as to which plates gonna shift, but we’re overdue for some movement. Seems like cascadia moving here. Gorda has has a few too and the 1000 plus little ones in socal. Watch for the town Niland to have quakes its the “bottom” of the san andreas fault.
Taking all the lube (oil) , gas and water out from under the earths crust is not smart if we want less quakes. Fracking&drilling could really do us in, hell it makes quakes in Kansas&Oklahoma these days.
Get those emergency kits ready! For real. If a huge quake hit now do you have a go bag ready to grab? Theres a good chance you wouldnt be safe to go back inside in a large event. At the least have your camping gear ready compleye with hand pump h20 filter&snacks.
