87-Year-Old-Man Injured in Traffic Collision on J Street in Eureka
A 87-year-old man was injured after a two vehicle collision on J Street near Buhne a few minutes after 11:30 a.m., according to the scanner. The man is complaining of a hand injury and also has a head injury.
An ambulance has been requested but not Code 3 (sirens and lights).

He was probably reading a newspaper while he was driving.
That’s a terrible comment to make just assumed he was doing something you don’t even know if he was at fault at 87 I just hope it’s going to be okay I spent the morning driving back and forth between Arcata and Eureka and all I saw were people speeding talking on their phones and not having the lights on people are so law-abiding around here
