Gyppo Ale Mill is Celebrating Turning One on April 27th

This is a press release from Gyppo Ale Mill:

Shelter Cove, CA. Gyppo Ale Mill is turning ONE! Come celebrate a year of growth, excellent beer, outstanding food, and what has become Shelter Cove’s unofficial Community Center. Gyppo Ale Mill made it a very successful first year and came leaps and bounds for a new business.

This year the new brewery came home with several awards that they are extremely proud of and honored to receive. They started with a win from the Bear River Brewfest and followed up by winning Best in Humboldt at Hops in Humboldt beer festival. Later, being recognized as Best New Business by the Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.

They have a lot to celebrate with the community that made the brewery so successful. On April 27 from 1-9pm they invite the town out for a free admission full day of fun. They will unveil their new outdoor BeerStream, a converted Airstream turned traveling taproom, that will be serving pints in the beer garden. Not to mention 3 bands and North Bay Shellfish, also know as, Kyle the Oyster Guy, shucking up bivalves! Gyppo Ale Mill can’t wait to celebrate with you!

I’ll admit they serve as a much needed community center. But their top quality beer is outrageously expensive, and I wonder if their over priced food still sucks like it did last summer; wilted salads, tasteless tartar sauce, and skimpy fish portions in a fat-laden cocoon of overcooked dough?

Overpriced tasteless food, void of service, rude owners, do yourself and your community a favor and give this place a wide berth!

Wow Joan, I don’t recall meeting you and I apologize if I was rude. Thanks for the feedback but I do hope that people will not follow your advice. We employee a chunk of local that depend on the support of our community. We’ll continue to try our best to live up to your expectations.
