Press release from the Trinity County Department of Health and Human Services:

There has recently been a third case of measles confirmed in Shasta County. At this time, there have been no measles cases confirmed in Trinity County. As we increase measles surveillance, it is valuable to remind our community that Trinity County Public Health has effective procedures in place for controlling the spread of contagious illnesses, and has successfully addressed similar issues in the past.

Measles is a highly contagious viral infection that spreads very easily from person to person through coughing and sneezing. It causes a high fever, coughing, runny nose, and the characteristic rash that begins on the face and spreads down the body. The rash appears three to five days after the initial symptoms of fever, cough, and runny nose. Due to a vaccine preventing measles, the illness has become much less common in the United States. However, people young and old can still get the measles, and it can lead to serious complications, especially in very young children, adults older than 20, pregnant women, and people with weakened immune systems. That is why it is important to understand what causes measles, who is most at risk for getting it, and how to protect yourself and your family if you are exposed.

Shasta County has identified these locations as possible exposure sources.
• Movies 14 in Redding on April 16, 7-11 PM
• Club 501 in Redding on April 5 from 10 PM to April 6 at 2 AM
• Club 501 in Redding on April 6 from 10 PM to April 7 at 2 AM
• Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding on April 4 from 9 AM – 1 PM
• Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding on April 7 from 1:45-5:15 PM
• Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding on April 7 from 9:15 PM to 12:30 AM
• Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding on April 8 from 12:30–3 PM

Please contact Trinity County Public Health if you were at any of these locations during the identified time frame.

The most common risk factors for getting measles include:
 Not being vaccinated – if you have not been vaccinated against measles and come in contact with the virus, your chances of becoming ill are very high.
 International travel – travelling in countries where measles is more common and vaccination rates are lower than in the United States

Measles can be serious among all age groups; however people who may be at especially high risk for complications include:
 Adults – adults who get the measles are likely to have more severe symptoms.
 People with weakened immune systems – this may include anyone with an immune- system disorder, and people who are receiving steroid or chemotherapy treatment.
 Very young children – children who are exposed to measles can develop ear infections that result in permanent hearing loss, as well as pneumonia, the most common cause of death among young children with the measles. Swelling of the brain, known as encephalitis, is also a possibility among young children.
 Pregnant women – pregnant women who get the measles are at an increased risk for serious complications, preterm labor, and preterm delivery.

A person is considered immune to the measles if they were born before 1957 or have received two doses of measles mumps rubella (MMR) vaccine. The MMR vaccine is safe and very effective at preventing the disease. Additional ways to prevent the spread of measles include:
 Staying at home if you are infected with the measles until no longer contagious.
 Covering coughs and sneezes and washing your hands regularly.
 Avoiding places where you know a person with the measles was present in the last 4 hours.

If you think you have the measles, seek medical attention and DO NOT go out in public. It is necessary to contact the clinic, hospital, or doctor’s office before arriving so that they can take the proper infection control measure. An individual is infectious from four days before the rash starts through four days after the rash appears.

Here are Merck’s published side effects of the MMR vaccine:

measles;
atypical measles;
vaccine strain varicella;
varicella-like rash;
herpes zoster;
herpes simplex;
pneumonia and respiratory infection;
pneumonitis;
bronchitis;
epididymitis;
cellulitis;
skin infection;
subacute sclerosing panencephalitis;
aseptic meningitis;
thrombocytopenia;
aplastic anemia (anemia due to the bone marrow’s inability to produce platelets, red and white blood cells);
lymphadenitis (inflammation of the lymph nodes);
anaphylaxis including related symptoms of peripheral, angioneurotic and facial emema;
agitation;
ocular palsies;
necrotizing retinitis (inflammation of the eye);
nerve deafness;
optic and retrobulbar neuritis (inflammation of the optic nerve);
Bell’s palsy (sudden but temporary weakness of one half of the face);
cerebrovascular accident (stroke);
acute disseminated encephalomyelitis;
measles inclusion body encephalitis;
transverse myelitis;
encephalopathy;
Guillain-Barré syndrome;
syncope (fainting);
tremor;
dizziness;
paraesthesia;
febrile seizure;
afebrile seizures or convulsions;
polyneuropathy (dysfunction of numerous peripheral nerves of the body);
Stevens-Johnson syndrome;
Henoch-Schönlein purpura;
acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy;
erythema multiforme;
panniculitis;
arthritis;
death

It seems the side effects are worse than the disease itself. But hey, let’s make the pharmaceutical companies a bit richer.

And if you do get injured, guess who pays? The Pharmaceutical corporation?

Guess again.

The taxpayers (you and me) pay all injury claims made in vaccine court.

Sir, you will see side effects like that listed on just about everything right now. Ignorance of science and odds is no excuse to endanger innocent people. There is a REASON people are extremely worried about ‘anti-vaxxers’ mis-informed opinions spreading. Pro Tip: Just because Alex Jones said it, it may not actually be true. O.K.?

The side effects of getting the measles are the same. With vaccinations there is always a chance of a reaction. The statistics are for vaccination though are that your chances of getting a complication from the disease are far more frequent than from a vaccination. People who refused to vaccinate their children were getting a free ride being protected by those who did. Apparently they so frightened the public now that enough are refusing vaccinations and there is now increasing chance of running into another unvaccinated person who will share their disease with you.

Measles does not kill a large percentage of those who get it but that doesn’t mean that you are not scarred by it. My sister, who wanted nothing more than to be a musician lost a part of her hearing which made her unable to play well. When she gave it to me, I got encephalitis and spent a year being sick with other complications including pneumonia and kidney infections.

I feel the same, we do what we can. It is frustrating when threads become overwhelmed by a flood of nonsense to the point where no meaningfully discussion can be had. I believe this is the intent of many internet trolls, to muddy the waters by throwing out insane conspiracy theory so that people no longer know what is true or false. Although granted some are probably just genuinely confused and or guillable people.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels

It is amazing that people will actually risk the lives of their children and themselves by the rationalization behind rejecting the advances of healthcare and science!

Wherever you are hiding, would you like your family to get Polio? How about Scarlet Fever? Hepatitis B?

Measles, Mumps and Rubella are wholly preventable, should we just let the children suffer from disease, since we are ignorant and paranoid?

All medicine, every drug including Marijuana, each has a list of “side effects”. It is OK for you to sit there and volunteer your children to suffer, but do you actually believe the stuff you read on the internet?

I should think you would eschew the very use of electronic devices, information systems, cell phones, electric lights, and motor vehicles, since they are all “harmful”…

Welcome to your denial, your closed thought patterns, your crazy little ignorant world, and, you probably shouldn’t have children at all since life itself leads to a fatal outcome, in 100% of cases…

I don’t believe that anti-vaxers suffer from a lack of information, but they do suffer from a lack of intelligent thought. It also upsets me that researchers spent their lives to develop these vaccines in order to reduce human suffering, people like Jonas Salk. The Thimersol may have been implicated in some conditions, but the products appear to be safe, and have been tested in millions of patients. To think that your children are at risk from a product, used in millions of other children, is paranoid and supremely ignorant.

These folks do not have a lack of news, but they do have a lack of respect for the sacrifices of people intent upon ending disease, suffering, and premature death from diseases we have eradicated through vaccination.

Would you have your children get Tetanus, and cause the expenditure of millions of dollars in care, because of a scratch or a simple injury? You may have Medicaid, but a simple vaccine could significantly limit the suffering of your child, and could well prevent their death!

No amount of misguided fear is worth risking your children’s ability to survive preventable disease.

Vaccinate for their health, their life, and make your own choices for yours alone… Ignorance is not an excuse for failing to protect your children…

My reply here is all the vaccines, all medications, all things applied to the body must have all side effects listed. That means even one person out of a hundred thousand experiences the side effect it has to be listed as a side effect.

Since vaccines began in 1906, over 6 million lives have been saved that would have died from disease.

Many of the persons citing antivax support speak of the Dr Sears vaccine book, which at this point is information that is almost 20 years old. And of current note Dr. Sears has been prosecuted for falsifying records and information and thete is even talk of having his license pulled because of his false information so that’s a little suspect there.

Vaccine contents, additives and in general vaccines have continued to improve and contain less preservatives.

Please parents look at the absolute most current vaccine information from years dated 2017 and Beyond. Nothing with a lesser date than that on your article print date.

In the end yes the choice is yours! But there are many options out there today that are very safe and will protect your child from vaccine preventable diseases.

Thanks,
section 13 of the vaccine insert says they haven’t been tested for mutagenic potential, carcinogenic potential etc.

There woukdn’t be a vaccine court where millions are paid out for vaccine related injuries if they were safe.

If anyone can provide 1 study that shows they are safe and that study can prove they prevent disease, post it here.

And, probably a lot of those side effects occur in groups of people who are compromised by predisposed conditions, of which many are probably mentioned in the warnings published by the company that made the drug. So if you take away the predispositions and the screw ups, the numbers change. In favor of vacs in my opinion. Don’t let the politicians BS you on this one. They would give you all measles for a few votes.

~No, i’m not of the vax-a-nation genocide group of automated virtual data repositories.

“Vaccines have saved over 6 million lives since they began in 1906.” You can’t be serious. Sanitation, clean water, un-molested food, and clean living conditions have added to longevity.

Gandhi quotes:

“Vaccination is a barbarous practice, and it is one of the most fatal of all life delusions current in our time.”

“The vaccine is a filthy substance and it is foolish to expect that one kind of filth can be removed by another.”

“Conscientious objectors to vaccination should stand alone, if need be, against the whole world, in defence of their conviction.”

There are things so dangerous to the public that the freedom of action guaranteed by the Constitution is tempered by the Constitution itself. No one has the right to exercise their individual rights by endangering their neighbors simultaneously requiring that these same neighbors to allow them the benefits of society. At that point you either surrender some of your individual freedom to cause harm or you live isolated enough to minimize the harm you are determined to cause.

Where the line is drawn is a constant struggle but at least our Constitution requires that such decisions are a struggle rather than the unilateral socialist authoritarianism without recourse.

Disease is one of the places where an individual is helpless to defend themselves from the paranoia, craziness and plain stupidity of their neighbors. There is a real risk to a person getting a vaccination but it is very small compared to the risks of the disease. It merits error on the side of regulation.

God I don’t know which is more stupid- those who think that because they have been protected from disease that it’s threat is all a lie ( paranoid) or the ones who have been so protected from the natural order of dog eat dog for so long , so they deny
that there are plenty of dogs quite willing to take advantage of their shortsightedness (arrogant). Such monomania that ignores history and science is always so supercilious- like vegans.

~sorry Guest, you’re way off base on this.

The Constitution exists to set up the Federal Government and the Federal Government is responsible for nineteen delegated “powers” — duties to perform services in common for the subscribing states of the union—- all of which, with the limited exception of the Interstate Commerce Clause— take place in the international jurisdiction of the sea.

NEVER, EVER, was external authority delegated powers to prescribe what we, the living sentient beings on the land, put in our bodies.

There is no mention of education in the original Constitution either. And thus education is a power that falls to the States to regulate. If the States choose to require vaccinations to attend the educational institution , that is their right. The Constitution neither requires anything except where the Federal government has the power nor bars the State from exercising that power as they choose unless it is in conflict to the power designated by the Constitution. Thus if an individual chooses to challenge the requirement to the Supreme Court they can if they can show it is in conflict with a Federal law. Otherwise there is no Constitutional issue.

Where is this “State” you refer to? If we go to Sacramento and throw open the doors of the legislature, will we find the State? The power remains with the people – WE are the state.
“The Myth of Authority” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asqLxSYbUUE 16:51 Dec 2015.

How does education fall to the State to regulate? Why do you think there’s so many Moms homeschooling now? The public fool system teaches what to think, not how to think.

The State is always society’s enemy. The State has no money of its own, only what the people give it. The State has no power of its own, only what the people delegate. The world that T.H.E.Y. live in, they can’t recognize the private, that would be like pulling the curtains back for all to see, the fictional world of lack and despair.

No paper gives a right that is reserved for the living man with free will. We can only wish that a certain event or actions occur as all have free will, not to trespass on anyone, perhaps we can lay down by the still waters/spirit.

Thousands of people die each day in car accidents, cars are touted to be safe. Occasionally people die in bus crashes or train wrecks but they are touted as safe. Yes there are lots of things that are called safe that do have some risks, most things in life have this damn ironic twist! ❤ Been parachuting, used a heater that produces carbon monoxide? I know of some folks that went up for a dream ski vacation with their two kids and never returned because of a faulty vent pipe on the heater.

“America … has created a ‘civilization’ that represents an exact contradiction of the ancient European tradition. It has introduced the religion of praxis and productivity; it has put the quest for profit, great industrial production, and mechanical, visible, and quantitative achievements over any other interest.

It has generated a soulless greatness of a purely technological and collective nature, lacking any background of transcendence, inner light, and true spirituality. America has [built a society where] man becomes a mere instrument of production and material productivity within a conformist social conglomerate.” ― Julius Evola

Simple test next time your offered a vaccination. Ask the person with the needle, ” what are you injecting me with?” If they are unable or unwilling to provide the information don’t let them proceed. Every time I go to the Dr they want to give a “free” flu shot yet no-one can ever provide me with an ingredient list. Then the nurse looks at me like I am the odd one asking for information she does not have. Modern science should be able to at least provide folks with information about the contents of a vaccine or a flu shot. Often that information is not available to the people who are being inoculated, which to me seems a bit insane.

Why is the single measles vaccine not available after the findings that combined “cocktails” have a statistically higher chance of causing autism?

“Potentially fatal? Technically true, but herein lies the lie. It’s been publicized as “the deadliest of all childhood fever/rash illness with a high rate of complications.” Deadly? Not in the U.S., or any other developed country with a well-nourished population. The risk of fatality here isn’t zero, but it’s as close to zero as you can get without actually being zero. ” #Doctor

There has been no increase in the number of people who had the same mental issues . And don’t think that the idea that no one died of measles should be allowed to stand. https://www.forbes.com/sites/tarahaelle/2015/07/02/first-u-s-measles-death-in-more-than-a-decade/#7c019cb8a196 It’s simply not true.

Besides, had I died when I had the measles that lead to a kidney infection and then to pneumonia over a period of 6 months, I doubt that measles would have been listed as a cause death. It would have been the complication of measles that would have been listed- pneumonia.

You have been protected. So well protected, you think that is the way it is naturally. You only see the problems left, thinking that everyone who was alive and knows the reality of the disease is stupid. You, who have not seen them, presume yourself to be wiser. Since you’d rather resurrect the old miseries, way too much effort has to be spent dealing with that rather than in making vaccines safer and safer.

So after reading all of the comments above I see that many people can not make a statement without letting their emotions influence their position. It is understandable as this is an emotional issue and disease in children (and adults) is very serious. I want to know what the truth is, and I don’t just blindly follow someone’s word.

It’s true, in the past, (and currently), vaccines prevented illness. They are not new. They were used well before 1906 ( https://www.historyofvaccines.org/timeline/all ). The use of certain ingredients in vaccines is new however. It is these additives that are causing concern to people who have lost faith in vaccines, and vaccine makers. Their concern is increased by the way our country has handled the safeguarding of the large pharmaceutical corporations making these vaccines by protecting them from lawsuits. It is also true that advances in cleanliness and sanitation made great improvements, right around the time certain vaccines came in to use, giving the impression the vaccines made the advances, when in fact it may be that it was the cleanliness and sanitation improvements.

For people who want to blame non-vaccinated children for the spread of disease, I ask; If your kid is vaccinated, why do you care? Your kid is protected. For the people who say everyone should be vaccinated without choice, I say; the state doesn’t own our bodies, and the forcible injection of vaccines without parent approval constitutes nothing short of aggravated assault. If you disagree with that perhaps you should take an extended visit to a communist country to understand how it works. Our own state now requires children to be vaccinated before entering school, unless they have an exemption. Now the state is going after doctors giving exemptions, much like they did when doctors gave recommendations for marijuana use. The forced vaccination mandate for school is denying children education, which is a violation of their constitutional rights.

If this is such a huge problem, why were we letting unvaccinated children (and adults) in to the population via illegal immigration? Shouldn’t they have been quarantined first? They have for years come to this country only to be released to the general population unvaccinated.

Why is there no discussion Homeoprophylaxis? Kate Birch and Cilla Whatcott wrote a great book about it: The Solution. Library of Congress Control Number 2012908826. I can not even find a doctor locally who knows what this is. Is it possible our highly trained doctors are not as highly trained as we thought?

All these questions. But my one question to you is this. If your kid had a neurological reaction to a vaccination, as mine did, would you continue giving those vaccinations to the kid? If you would, perhaps it is you who is guilty of aggravated assault.

Thank you, John. Yes, it’s hard to keep emotions out of this since its mostly aimed at babies who are injected in the delivery room with Vitamin K in one thigh and Hep.B in the other, with a total of 58 jabs by the time the child reaches five years old, SHOULD make questions arise in any parent.

Ever wonder why the Mennonites do not suffer the American cancer epidemic? Dr. Mary’s Monkey on YouTube is a real eye-opener – to those who can handle the truth. Autism is also unheard of in the Mennonites.

A lot of people won’t want to hear this, but . . . empowering the corporate gov’t to inject people against their will is far more dangerous than the measles.

A doctor in Santa Rosa has filed litigation against the anti-civilization group of willfully ignorant devildoers.

There is going to be a rally at the Capitol in Sacramento tomorrow, April 24, against Senator Pans vaccine agenda.

The good news is 55% of Americans are pro-life, not pro-vax.

Because, as is clear, vaccines discourage the disease. They don’t prevent them. Even someone who has been vaccinated, if exposed to enough viral load, can have their immune system overwhelmed by enough exposure to the virus. And you want to throw those too young or too ill to be successfully vaccinated under the bus. You can’t claim that pro life stance if you’re so will to take that stance.

Guest, listen closer. You’re trying to defend something so unnatural as to make the angels weep.
“Vaccines discourage the disease”. Vaccines ARE the disease. What do you think causes the immune system to be compromised in the first place?

REPEAT: ‘German supreme court rules Measles are not Caused by a Virus’ by Dr. Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD, DM: In a recent ruling, judges at the German Federal Supreme Court confirmed that the measles ‘virus’ does not exist.

Death is natural. Disease is natural. And BTW measles itself “resets” the immune systm so that the immunity built up prior to the disease fades away. Then of course you need to build it up by getting the previous diseases all over again. Natural is no guarantee to do anything for the individual that the individual would find agreeable.

And don’t be patronizing unless you have the enough capital in the bank… https://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/39817/did-germanys-supreme-court-rule-that-the-measles-virus-didnt-exi What the court case was apparently about was that an anti vaxxer offered a large prize if someone provided one scientific publication that proved the measles virus exists. A man claimed the prize using a combination of six scientific publications that did prove the measles virus existed. The anti vaxxer then refused to pay up because his criterion for winning was one publication, not six. He won his appeal about the bet only. The judges in the case warned clearly that this did not mean they ruled therevwas no virus. Only the the requirement if the bet was not met.

” Then of course you need to build it up by getting the previous diseases all over again.” Where do you come up with this?

” Natural is no guarantee to do anything for the individual that the individual would find agreeable.”
Yeah, there’s no guarantees. However, choosing what nature provides for nature fits. Needles jabbed into the human body with man-made toxins is nothing short of evil. Why doesn’t somebody claim the $100,000 to prove that vaccines deter disease and don’t cause harm? Because they can’t.

I didn’t read the German court case. Was there a number of scientific publications that had to be met above the one? For sure, when you read litigation papers it more than not puts a whole different slant on parts of what gets published.

Kym – There has been one case of measles in our county but no exposure as the patient was met at the airport in San Francisco and transported here in a medically protective way to avoid exposure to anyone enroute to the hospital and while recovering here.

Mortality rate for measles in USA in last 20y is near zero. People need to calm the fuck down about vaccines.

No vaccine is 100% effective .
4billion dollars paid out on vaccine injury /death claims. Those are the numbers u should fear.

Fear,

thanks.

Not 1 person has ever produced a study that proves vaccines work, the commenters provide news clips that are not sourced.

And thanks about the vaccine court info.

If vaccines don’t cause harm why is there a vaccine court that’s paid out at least millions?

Also if vaccines are so great why don’t most doctors get vaccinated and why don’t most doctors get their kids vaccinated?

The only ones who say that vaccines are without risk are the ones who deny their fixtures. Of course there are risks with vaccinations. Just less risks than letting the diseases run rampant, which is the result of not vaccinating.

How can anyone use the absence of a disease as a cry against vaccinating when that very absence is the reason for the absence in the first place? The very idea is a contradiction. If measles had been eliminated worldwide or if the US did not allow travellers to come into the country, then the risks of vaccination might be greater than the risks of not vaccinating. However measles is especially virulent. An unvaccinated population is an inevitable epidemic sooner or later. Why do you think that doctors assume that anyone born before 1957 when the vaccine became widely available is immune? Because the disease was so very wide spread that it’s pretty safe to assume that people had had suffered through it.

I think everyone needa to remember to eat well and get nutrition. Anti vax pro vax its all stupid and diseases arent going anywhere and will evolve to do what they do no matter what.

Yet how many people do you know with polio? Pre vaccination, every year there were outbreaks of that disease. In the US. Suddenly upon vaccination being available, it stopped making headlines. You think FDR was malnourished? Yet he got the disease as an adult that left him crippled for the rest of his life. Vaccines aren’t perfect and could be made even safer but most diseases are not prevented by good nutrition. Simply the chances of surviving them are better if the victim is healthy to start with.

I believe in vaccines. What I don’t believe in is the government telling me what to do with the health of my child. This is a slippery slope and a fine line. I chose to vaccinate my child on an alternate schedule. I think it’s better for some of these vaccinations to be given when children are a little older and their bodies are stronger. I also think it was easier on his body to space them apart rather then give them all in one visit. MY CHOICE! He was fully vaccinated when he started school, on a schedule that I was comfortable with. I support a parents right to choose what is best for their child! I don’t support the government interfearing with that.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people were all so thoughtful about it. But there are parents who simply are not that way. There will always be a few who don’t care that much about their children or are easily frightened by the horror stories on the internet or are too incompetent to be thoughtful. And they have the power, if left to their own devices, to spread disease to those who can not make the choice for themselves.

But in the end, the government does not mandate everyone get vaccinated. Just those who go to public school and thus can spread disease easily. I hope that enough people continue to be willing to become vaccinated that the government will not try to force it. And I wish the people opposing vaccination were not so unreasonable that public health officials could investigate and publish results about minimizing the negative reactions from vaccines rather than constantly having to reinforce the basic concept.

” . . the public health officials could investigate and publish results . . .” <<<that is the most asinine statement of yours i've ever read.

For concerned parents, it should especially be noted that the first vaccine given to infants almost immediately following their birth is for Hepatitis B. The administration of this completely unnecessary vaccination has been determined to cause SIDS. Injecting babies with Hep B is perhaps the most misguided and ill-advised OB/GYN practice there is. Many a baby has certainly died from this inoculation and the parents were left wondering why … because the physicians always play dumb.

Why are known Carcinogens put into vaccines?

That most vaccines contain cancer-causing ingredients has been completely ignored by the MSM, as it has by the medical and scientific research establishment. There are proven carcinogens in a dangerously high percentage of vaccines that are injected into every infant and schoolchild, the elderly and infirmed, the sick and the dying. Formaldehyde is perhaps the best known of these carcinogenic agents found in many vaccines and has been calculated as follows:

Vaccines that contain formaldehyde include nearly all pediatric and adult flu shots; all forms of pediatric and adolescent pertussis vaccines (DTaP and the teen version, Tdap); and injectable polio vaccines (IPV) vaccines. Vaccines given under special circumstances also contain formaldehyde: tetanus boosters (dT, DT and TT), Japanese encephalitis vaccine, rabies vaccines and anthrax vaccine (given as six doses).

Let’s add up the amount of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen, is injected into children by the time they are five years of age. Assuming they get all doses of all recommended vaccines on time and according to the 2012 vaccination schedule:

Hepatitis b – 3 doses x 15 mcg each
DTaP – 5 doses x 100 mcg each
Polio (IPV) – 5 doses x 200 mcg each
Influenza – 6 doses x 25 mcg each
Hepatitis A – 1 dose x 100 mcg each
Total: 1,795 mcg = 1.795 milligrams

Even the CDC admits that before the measles mass vaccination program was introduced, nearly everyone contracted measles and obtained lifetime immunity by age 15.
