[UPDATE: Open] Hwy 1 Closed Due to Downed Power Lines After RV Hit Pole

An RV hit a power pole on Hwy 1 just before Rockport about 5:05 p.m., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page and the road is closed.

According to a California Highway Patrol press release. HWY 1 will be closed in both directions from mile marker 88.5 to mile marker 90 for repair to damaged lines. The closure is expected to last until approximately 9:30 p.m.

UPDATE: According to the Caltrans QuickMap, the road is clear.
