Surprised that road has lasted this long. Wonder if they are even going to properly repair it this time
Me too. The first time I drove Scenic Dr was in 1981 and much of it had already disappeared over the cliff into the ocean.
I wish they would, too. But I doubt they will. Even though a woman went over the side in her car a few weeks ago. Terribly dangerous.
I had a friend who worked on the HumCo Roads Dept years ago. He said they were “blessed” with that road as a GIFT from the State. The state gave it to the county because it was a lost cause.
Does anyone know where MPM .078 is roughly? Is it at the southern end where you come around the corner and get your first ocean view at the Camel Rock overlook?
