420 Games Coming, Raising Money for Contestants’ Charity of Choice
Press release from the One Log Dispensary:
Celebrate Spring’s renewal with cannabis-themed festivities at the 420 Games! On April 20, 2019, One Log House celebrates the Emerald Triangle’s finest resource: our community. Raise money for your favorite charity, get some sun on your face, eat a taco. What could be better?
The 420 Games is a series of competitions to test your root strength and headie dexterity. Bring your gloves and a good grip for Team Tug of War. The Bong Mile is a straightforward footrace, with bongs rips every ⅛ mile. The Soil Throw answers the age-old question: how far can you toss a bag of soil? Joint Rolling, perhaps the most popular of the competitions, is broken down into subcategories. Pinner: Who can roll a smokeable joint the fastest? Fatty: Who can roll the fattest joint in 5 minutes? Mixed-Media: Who can add the most concentrates in a joint that will smoke completely in 30 minutes? And Open Design: Work with your team at home to create the dopest joint. Judging takes place at 4:20pm.
Create a team of 3-4 people and join the 420 Games today! There’s a $420 entry fee per team, with all funds going to the winning team’s favorite charity. The prize pool is currently at $2,100 and rising fast. With enough local support, we can make a big difference in our community. Teams can drop off their 420 Games entry fee, along with the name of the charitable group they are championing, at the One Log House Café.
If team sports aren’t your jam, join us in the cheering section. There will be good vibes, a sense of community pride, and food trucks. It’s just like the Olympics, without the anti-doping drama. We hope to see you there!
