Two Suspects Found in Connection With Attempted Carjacking in Samoa, Says Sheriff’s Department
“Last night, 2/18/19, a juvenile suspect was taken into custody in connection to an attempted carjacking/armed robbery occurring at Samoa Beach on 2/6,” tweeted the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
A press release at the time indicated that a male between the ages of 17-21 brandished a firearm at the a woman who was in the parking lot with her small child and demanded her car keys. The woman refused to give the keys and the male assaulted her.
The crime was interrupted by another vehicle driving into the area. And the suspect fled in a car with another male.
The Sheriff’s Office tweet stated, “We have identified the second involved party and no subjects are believed to be outstanding at this time.”
