There are lots of places to donate today, January 10.
- Eureka:
- In Old Town at 525 2nd Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Humboldt County Health Department at 529 I Street from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
- Humboldt County Office of Education at 901 Myrtle Avenue from 1-4 p.m.
- The Blood Bank at 2524 Harrison Avenue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- McKinleyville:
- McKinleyville Shopping Center, 1555 City Center Road from 12-6 p.m.

Thanks Kym for this timely reminder to the community. During the holiday season the blood bank often sees some of its lowest donor numbers but is one of the busiest times of the year in the terms of need for donated blood. If you have never given blood there is no time like this to begin the journey of a blood donor.
