Four local teams claimed tournament championships on Saturday.

The McKinleyville girls continued to show why they are a much improved team from a year ago by defeating St. Bernard’s to claim the Panther Classic, while the Eureka Loggers won their second tournament in three weeks at Lincoln High in San Francisco.

And not to be out-done, Del Norte and Ferndale made it four tournament championships for the Humboldt-Del Norte League.
