[UPDATE 9:35 p.m.] Unconscious Woman Found in Crash North of Arcata

Traffic Collision Car AccidentA Hyundai crashed into a ravine near the intersection of Azalea Avenue and North Bank Road about 9:09 p.m., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

The occupant, a woman, is unconscious, according to a report over the scanner.

Please avoid the area if possible.

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

UPDATE 9:35 p.m.: The vehicle is 10 feet off the road and has minor front end damage.

Speaking of North Bank, did I miss an article on what the heck managed to hit the overpass hard enough to take out the tension bundle on the first girder? That’s a pretty impressive whoops.

There are lot of accidents on North Bank Road I have no idea why what did they drive too fast but there’s quite a few people that have gone down by where the river is I guess all somebody better crime around North Bank Road and Azalea Park up there

People drive too fast around here considering the road conditions and wet weather, when the roads are slick from rain, they should use more caution.
