The Humboldt County Animal Shelter’s 14th Annual Holiday Open House is being held tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 from 12 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to join the shelter for snacks and refreshments, tours, a raffle and a silent auction. The shelter will also be selling ‘memory star” ornaments in memory of pets.

Proceeds from the Open House will benefit the Emergency Medical Fund, which funds lifesaving medical care for rescued animals experiencing serious health issues.

The Humboldt County Animal Shelter is located at 980 Lycoming Ave. in McKinleyville. For more information about the shelter, please call (707) 840-9132.

I encourage everyone to attend.
Even if you cant afford a silent auction/raffle, come say hi&thx to the amazing folks who give so generously to pur countys critters.

Personally i think the shelter is way overdue for an upgrade&expansion, come see if you think so too!!

Please show up at 11:30 to make sure we are organized to protest the adoption of pit bulls. Those things kill! The shelter should be putting all of them down! Please bring signs and loud speakers.
