Giving Tree Fundraiser at Sunny Brae Animal Clinic
The Sunny Brae Animal Clinic writes:
It’s our annual Giving Tree Fundraiser at Sunny Brae Animal Clinic. This year we are supporting local organizations Sequoia Humane Society & Mending Mutts. We are also supporting Butte Humane Society’s Camp Fire Victims. The fundraiser will run from 11/23-12/31. We are accepting monetary and physical donations at the clinic.
The first organization we’re highlighting this year is Mending Mutts, whose mission is to foster and find homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered animals with behavioral, special, or medical needs in Humboldt County as well as preventing dogs and cats from being euthanized for treatable health or behavioral issues…
Our second organization is the better known Sequoia Humane Society. Their mission is to be a community leader in promoting the humane treatment of all animals, and end pet overpopulation by providing a high standard of care through programs such as pet adoption, spay and neuter and community education.
After speaking with Butte Humane, their current focus is to treat and care for animals wounded or lost in the Campfire. Additionally, they have opened a “Pantry” in Chico for those who have proof of residence in Paradise for people to come and get anything they need for their animals for free (food, litter, leashes, toys, etc.).
All organizations wish lists include monetary donations, gift cards, good quality dog and cats foods, cat and dog toys, animal beds, Thundershirts, laundry detergent, and so much more. Folks can call or come in for a complete Wish List.
