Arcata Playcenter Hosting Holiday Fundraiser on December 10th

Arcata, CA – The City of Arcata Recreation Division is excited to announce Arcata Play Center’s upcoming Holiday Pop-Up Shop taking place on Monday, December 10.

All community members are invited to celebrate the season and support the community with Arcata Play Center this holiday. This event provides the perfect opportunity to shop for the holidays while supporting local vendors. Plus, Arcata Play Center provides a wonderful opportunity for children to play while parents and adults do their shopping. Participating vendors include Usborne Books, Juliana Dean Photography, Shanny Moon, Smiling Spirits, Otto and Olive and many local crafters.

Event festivities will also include a special Community Holiday Play Date with the Tea Fairy/Gnome and Mad Moggy. A special presentation of stories and songs of the season will take place at 11:30 a.m.

The Holiday Day Pop-Up Shop is a fundraising event for Arcata Play Center. The event will take place on Monday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the D Street Neighborhood Center located at 1301 D Street in Arcata. For more information, call 707-822-7091 or visit cityofarcata.org.
