Stolen Motorcycles Located With the Help of Social Media, Says EPD

Press release from the Eureka Police Department:

Eureka PoliceOn 12/3/2018 at about 10:48 am, officers of the Eureka Police Department were dispatched to the green belt at the 2800 block of Broadway for a possible stolen vehicle(s) recovery. The Reporting Party (RP) stated that he had received anonymous information via social media that his stolen motorcycles were possibly at this location. The RP had reported his vehicles stolen, as part of a burglary report he made to the Eureka Police Department, the week before.

Upon arrival, officers were able to locate all five of the stolen motorcycles and the RP’s BMX bicycle. The vehicles were recovered and released back to the RP at the scene. The Eureka Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation and requests that anyone with information please contact Officer Mendoza at 707-441-4060.

Sounds like a PFFF between two people, one couldn’t pay so he was collected on. But someone played the golden ticket.
