You play you pay.
Notice DIVERTING STATE WATER. I guess all water belongs to the STATE now. Kind of like what the ceo of nestle said as he axed the people of flint Michigan from there new source of water. And i quote. Water is a privilege that must be baught not a rite !!!!!!! As he payed off dirty politicians kind of like the ones we have here. Evan if its on your own property. We need a new batch of slimeball politicians in nor cal or California.these ones have way overstepped already. There hideous rip offs, the PEOPLE cant win with either party any more there starting to look the same!!!!$
It has nothing to do with todays politicians. All land in the US is owned by the state. If you fail to pay your rent (property taxes), then your land is taken and sold. This is not a partisan problem it is a foundational problem.
It’s an old problem, with an old solution: declare yourself a church!
It doesn’t say he was diverting state water, it says he was letting contaminants escape into a state waterway, that being a navigatable waterway. We all have access to these waterways, not just the state.
The water he diverted may have been his own, his neighbour’s or the state’s. The article doesn’t specify, only that he did it without a permit.
Don’t let the facts get in the way of your temper tantrum, though.
1602 diverting the natural flow of state water. Don’t let the facts get in the way of your failure to retain information
I can’t believe the guy didn’t get all the herb off the property and totally clean it up at after his other two places got hit.
Read again, Jack. 1602 F&G – “Diverting the natural flow of state water.” Don’t let the facts get in the way of your outrage though.
Oh, now I see that. I guess he should have got a permit.
As in: Get a permit and pay annual fees FOR YOUR OWN WATER ON YOUR OWN LAND. This is a new thing the state water board is doing to us and people should take note and fight it. It is only applying to cannabis for starters but will then be used on all private land. Your well and your spring are now not yours! They are using public resentment towards cannabis grows to sneak in this historic power grab.
That’s sayin it like it is.
Just say “No.”
HOW CAN THESE HUGE BUSTS, LIKE THE 8 TON BUST IN ETTERSBURG, NOT BE ATTRACTING FEDERAL ATTENTION?
Are our local governments so inept?
Are these not worthy of RICO continuing criminal enterprises) prosecution?
WTFF?

Some Bulgarians have federal protection because we have military bases in Bulgaria. I wouldn’t be surprised if the fbi and cia are getting a cut of their profits. And obviously the county sheriffs and planning department are getting bribed by them.
It’s up to the state to shut those grows down at this point. I have no problem with the Bulgarians but as far as I’m concerned corrupt politicians and government employees should go to prison.
Fake news.
And the dish ran away with the spoon . . .
Hey diddle diddle…
“Wardens” and “Scientists”, OH MY!
This stuff is over-rated. Seriously, there ought to be a mass boycott of cannabis, at least for, say, a year. It would bring some sanity to this whole scene. With a bunch of growers and dealers not being able to move their merchandise, they may have to go to work or something. Then, after the year-long moratorium, it could be put into some kind of perspective, like making it easier to obtain a permit and not taxing it so much that it’s not cost effective to produce it. To all you smokers, my advice would be: just try not doing it for a little while. Take a short rest from supporting organized crime and ecological devastation. It’s pretty simple, really.
I like your perspective, let me add, grow your own smoke at home. While you’re at it grow some food.
Definitely a great idea to boycott the legal 6x the price weed. 20 dollers a gram with its nice little plastic pill bottle that will end up in the plastic continent floating in the ocean!!! Yeah we’re doing it for the environment!!!! For the salmon !!!!!
I mean define “deleterious” materials.. it is perfectly legal to build 100ft from a perennial stream (year round) and 50 ft for a non perennial stream. So what is this “150ft” number all the sudden come into play? I mean if it is something like rat poison, motor oil, pesticides, and they are not in a building, or properly contained, I get it. But it seems unreasonablely restrictive for a 150 ft. That is an arbitrary number and as no berance on any of the laws I have seen…. I don’t even think that is really the law. I mean some of these folks in the hills are not caring for our water sheds.. I get it. There does need to be measures to protect the environment, and the communities. It just seems arbitrary and excessive, and causes undue hardships to an already struggling industry.
