Found: Big Black Dog (Do You Recognize Him?)

Black dog in cageDoes anyone recognize this handsome dog? The finder tells us:

Found this afternoon (Dinsmore area)!! We came across this sweet, well-behaved, large, mixed-breed male on our property. He appeared to be waiting for his owner to come back. We found him on the ridge above Dinsmore store, up Bear Creek Road. He isn’t wearing a collar, but it appears he may have had a rope around his neck. We currently have him in a warm, covered kennel, but we can’t keep him. For more information, please call Allison at 707 499-1855. Thank you.

Poor guy. Sounds abandoned, literally. Somebody love him up. He has a very heartbroken look to him.

Sad to say but this time of year there is always grow dogs left to either starve or eat the remaining wildlife as their previous masters went back to the east coast cities or to Belize. Dope is a victimless crime. If they come back next year, get another dog and start over.

The reason there are “grow dogs” is because our year round white trash residents all think that they are dog breeders. That’s where the homeless puppies come from, which the grow workers temporality adopt.

Solution: spay and neuter the white trash.

Only if we get to chose who qualifies as the “white trash” that gets neutered. The results of that vote might surprise someone who thinks of others as “white trash”.

Can you keep us posted? Hopefully a kind soul will make their life, and his, better by giving him a happy forever home.
