Fingers crossed, looks good at first.
Not surprised; most of the semis drive at too fast a speed in places they shouldn’t, especially if they don’t know the road. The worst places are by Campora and in Salyer. CHP needs to be more aware.
And the burnt Ranch area known for rocks on the road after a good rain. Never ceases to amaze me how fast they drive. Also MM 32-34 blood alley near willow creek. Downhill tight turns. Hence today’s semi accident.
No one knows why the semi left the road, but already stating they drive to fast. I see more nuts in cars than in semi’s.
I see leaves on the road in the second photo. Lived around here since the seventies and the only time I thought I had bought it was ’cause I hit leaves right after a storm. Slick as ice.
The mike marker is before Willow Creek to the west. That spot has passing lanes and is very, very icy.
Oops, not at the passing lanes.
Lucky no one was in the other lane.
Today I saw a fuel semi going 10-20 mph over limit on broadway in rain, driver on the phone, blew the light at henderson.
Damn prick!
Also saw 3 or 4 cops just chilling on the safety corridor waiting to give tickets…
Pricks!
he must have made a wrong turn… a long way from the heartland
I had to click on this just because of the headline….and sure enough there was the photo evidence first thing!
Glad that no one was hurt and I was able to get a little chuckle.
