The Hoopa Valley Warriors saw a memorable season come to an end in the opening round of the North Coast Section playoffs on Saturday, falling 48-22 at No. 7 seed St. Helena.

The No. 11 Warriors had the better of exchanges in the opening half, and led 22-21 at the interval.

A mistake-filled start to the third quarter, however, saw the home team pull away for the win and advance to play at No. 2 Salesian Prep next weekend.
