Vehicle With No Plates Set on Fire in Residential Neighborhood in Eureka This Morning

This morning, firefighters responded extinguished a fire in a tan van in the 2300 block of Union Street in Eureka.

According to a neighbor, the vehicle was parked here on Sunday with a broken window.

Humboldt Bay Fire Captain Tony Freeman said that the vehicle, which has no license plates, appears to have been dumped and then, this morning, set on fire.
