Homogenized corporate governmental services = despots.

This is what bribe/Grants do –no checks and/or balances whatsoever.

Do you know that the re-do of the Eureka Vet’s building is Fed. funds? Rex Bohn made the “it’s Federal” comment at the October 2nd Supe. meeting – the one with the 1-pager so-called Minutes –signed by Deputy Clerk and Co-Chair Bohn (forbidden in their job description) Not even a despicable “Action Summary” is available.

But then, what else should we expect when three, four, sometimes Five, traitors stand and pledge allegiance to a four-colored, upside-down stars, wrong-size stripe, flag?

No Supe. meeting today (5th Tuesday) – cross your fingers Humboldt doesn’t collapse w/out the “wise ones”
convening, colluding, and conferring.

While I don’t understand your entire post, I totally understand the part about Federal Grants with strings attached that gives the Feds partial control and the Hatch Act that forbids all Federal employees from campaigning during their work time.

What benefits does a harbor commissioner receive? I would hate to see a person move from one government entity to another like many others have done to continue sucking off of the government while not really doing anything. I am not impressed by what some of the people on Eureka city council have done. We need to keep Richard Marks as Harbor Commissioner.

Mariahgirl,

I planned on providing a link to The Freeman’s Charter for the City of Eureka, on the eighteenth day of June, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, with a Board of fifteen Freeholders, and what they had to say about the Mayor’s position regarding the Harbor Commission . . / the hiring and firing of the Chief of Police, qualifications regarding state citizen, minimum and maximum age, where the Chief lives, owns land and for how long. But alas, I can’t locate a link. I’ll check Wayback.
