A dual axle travel trailer hooked up to a late model Chevy pickup overturned in the southbound lanes of Hwy 101 south of Laytonville around mile marker 64 about 2:15 p.m.

According to Myles Cochrane, spokesperson for Caltrans, the two southbound lanes are blocked.

He wrote, “Both SB lanes closed on Men 101 about 4.5 miles north of the 162 junction. It’s four lanes there so we’ll have traffic control to get SB motorists through and delays should be minimal.”

Cochrane said there was no estimated reopening time but “we anticipate it could be cleared up fairly quickly.”

UPDATE 3:03 p.m.: According to a post on Caltrans District One’s Facebook page, “Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction using the northbound lanes, so expect minor delays through the area.”

Seriously doubt it was a vacation…Much more likely that job @ grow was over for the season

It was pretty windy coming up the 101 today. Did not see the crash.

There are no accidents. Just exercises in negligence.

Lol, if you looked at the picture and think the truck is on its side, you may want to get your eyes looked at.

When filling trailer with lbs, place 10 in front of the axle for every 9 behind it.
