Mendocino Sheriff’s Office Urges Residents to Be Prepared for Power Outages During the Coming Red Flag Weather

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Mendocino and surrounding counties from 11:00pm tonight through Monday. During these weather events, power outages may occur. To learn more about preparing for a power outage, please visit https://www.ready.gov/power-outages.

 
PG&E customers should also review the PG&E Community Wildfire Safety Program. In some  extreme weather events PG&E may decide to temporarily turn off electricity to customers who are served by PG&E electric lines that run through extreme fire-threat areas. PG&E should notify customers prior to such events occurring.
