All branches of Humboldt County Library Now Equipped with Wi-Fi

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Library:

The Willow Creek branch of the Humboldt County Library recently acquired Wi-Fi, meaning that all branches are now equipped with free wireless internet for public use.

Each branch offers internet-enabled computers and Wi-Fi for everyone, regardless of whether or not they have a library card. Printers and copy machines are also available for public use.

In today’s technology-advanced age, the library has evolved into more than just physical books. Libraries are a hub of information, offering public internet access, e-materials, programming for all ages, as well as traditional books.

The Humboldt County Library has eleven branches throughout the county, along with one Bookmobile.  All strive to offer vital services and would like to thank community members for their continued patronage.

The Library would like to thank Todd Williams, the owner of Tsunami Wireless, for his generous donation of equipment and service to the Willow Creek Library.

For further information, call the Eureka Library at 707-269-1900 or visit the library’s website at www.humlib.org.
