Code Red Evacuation for Residents in Trinity County Near Delta Fire
Shasta Trinity National Forest. Trinity County uses the Code Red emergency alert system which uses reverse 911 calls and emails etc. to inform inhabitants of a specific area of important information.
The Delta Fire which was 97% contained earlier today has flared up dangerously prompting Code Red evacuations, according to a tweet by They also posted on Facebook,
At the recommendation of the #DeltaFire managers the Trinity County Sheriff’s Department and Trinity County Office of Emergency Services have issued a mandatory evacuation notice for residents on East Fork Road, north to Ramshorn Road and east to the Trinity/Shasta line due the fire burning on the Trinity/Shasta County Line. The fire has crossed Slate Mountain Road at Dog Creek.
