I love otters! They are adorable happy curious creatures! We had one follow us down the river while we walked down the trail in the Humboldt wildlife bay. It was So so cute. It was obviously very curious. Also saw a family, the little ones are adorable!
On a whale watching trip, in Monterey bay, I learned how valuable Sea Otters are to the eco systems. They eat urchins that kill the kelp forests. I have seen beaches entirely taken by Urchins.. not good. Go Otters!

When I swim at dusk I often wonder if a few of these rabble-rousers might pop up next to me and make me faint..
They are always fun to watch from the shore.

That last pic . Looks like the otter is sayin . Looooooks a wee bit like Talia kids, but dont be so shore.
