Audrey Shelton turned in a player of the game performance on Wednesday, to lead the Arcata girls to a big 7-0 win over visiting Del Norte in Humboldt-Del Norte League soccer action.

In other games on Wednesday, the Eureka girls solidified their place atop the league standings with a 4-2 win over second-placed Fortuna.

In boy’s action, Del Norte kept the pressure on league leaders Fortuna with a 2-0 win at Arcata, while McKinleyville got the better of St. Bernard’s 7-0.

Fortuna improved to 6-0 in league play with a 1-0 win at Eureka.
