This year’s juror is Dan McCauley. “Hello my name is Dan McCauley, I am a found object metal sculptor.  I was taught to weld at the age of 11 by my grandfather, my first metal project was building a go-cart.  I learned that almost anything can be built from using discarded items.  Art is a passion of mine.  To improve other’s lives by making them happy is the greatest gift to give.  Simplicity is key, whether in life or expression.  I feel it carries a message of happiness.  I love sharing what I do and I love seeing people share what they do.”

To be eligible, art works must be made of 100% recycled materials. Please review detailed entry guidelines available at the Museum or at www.humboldtarts.org.  Adult, youth, and Group submissions will be accepted, and awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place within each category as well as a Best of Show Award.
