Some one is throwing sparks or else it’s deliberate.
I find it hard to believe that people do things like that deliberately, but this summer has pretty much proved to me that people do.
Might be time for Very Harsh laws where Firebugs are concerned.

Sheesh!!

Maybe somebody’s paying back the county for all the abatement orders…..
Anybody thought about with the real criminals are going to do if you mess with their money? They will probably take it out of the County’s ass. I bet the county sees a bunch of Retribution coming their way! Hope not…..

I saw the same thing, driver under the Glendale overpass flipped a burning cigarette out the window of a black SUV, landed 5 ft +/_ from tall dry grass a couple of weeks ago. A lot of idiots out there!

Sounds like it could be a chain dragging on the highway, creating sparks. Have seen this before. Hoping it is the former and not the latter, Mobius.

I witnessed a company truck (don’t know the company) pull back onto Glendale dr half way between lower Fieldbrook road and the PGE power station. The tow chain was dragging. A 2nd truck a ways away also pulled back onto to the road neading east. Tjat is all it takes. The Carr Fire

Carr fire was started by a travel trailer that’s brakes overheated and caught fire going down Buckhorn summit, not a chain. But a lot of fires are caused by trade chains dragging…

I saw same motorhome and kayaks with it’s trailer disengaged pulled over to side of 101 onramp from 299. CHP quickly left scene and went to fire site. Timing right for possibly starting fire.
