  • No thanks for your services

Probably headed for the planning dep.

  • goffers are a problem. expired boat flares work for about 6 months if done right.

  • It is sitting on a gopher mound isn’t it lol

  • Yup. Looks like an ‘improvised’ gopher gasser.

  • Man thats a large explosive, no idea whats in it but man that would of caused some serious damage.

  • Tha thing looks straight outa Kandahar lol

  • Kym, any word on what exploded at 6:27 last night next to the golf course?

  • Correct me if I’m wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers they’ll lock me up and throw away the key.

  • If you notice these idiots that are always fkng around with explosives, you’ll also notice they’re all morons

  • Kid sure as hell wasn’t leaving it at home.

  • How many explosive devices have there been in Mckinleyville this year? Seems like a new trend or same person?

  • If that yellow cord is the fuse or the wires you have to hook to a battery. It looks awful short for the size of the explosive. They probably realized that at the last minute and changed their mind.

  • You can extend the wire before you energize it but I don’t think they were that smart but they did constrict the explosive device which makes it more exclusive.

  • Explosive not Exclusive

  • Coletta A Hughes

Too much city bs drama is coming up here with all the trash moving up here 🙁

    • Kym, how do I get deleted for comment about drinking bong water but original poster can refer to people as trash? SMH

      • Coletta is referring to a group of people. You were insulting a commenter.

        Here’s the rules:

Civility is valued by the moderator.
Insulting other commenters will get you deleted. Do it too often and you will get banned.
No slurs–racial, ethnic, gender, political etc. Also, stop calling local places by sneering nicknames, etc. Genuine complaints/opinions okay. Sneers are not okay.
Try to add value to the website by offering information, art, humor or, most of all, thoughtful discussion.
Free speech is valued by the moderator and sometimes that trumps civility but don’t push it.
Also, grammar, punctuation, spelling criticisms should come from parents, teachers, and bosses not anonymous people on the internet. If you can understand what someone says, refrain from telling them how to edit their comments. The one exception to this is me. If I make an error, politely pointing it out is fine.
Mocking people in positions of authority is acceptable. Mocking children, disabled people, those suffering from misfortune, those in a minority who don’t have power is something a bully does.
        Don’t threaten or encourage violence.
If there is significant evidence (for instance, being charged by law enforcement) that a crime occurred, I allow accusations of wrongdoing. However, please don’t accuse someone by name of a crime when there is no evidence readily available to a reasonable reader.

        • Okay thanks. I didn’t realize that I must insult people as a group rather than individually.

          • Trying to promote civility and not squelch the free exchange of ideas is…difficult. I do my best. When people are individually insulted, they lose their minds and start slinging insults back and then I have entire comment threads with the rough equivalent of schoolyard insults being traded. But group insults are slightly more tolerable and people appear to find it difficult to express their concerns without including a large group. In this case, Coletta appears to think that an influx of people with questionable morals is a problem. I think she should be allowed to express that opinion even though I am pretty sure that we’ve got lots of homegrown morally stunted folks, too.

    • this is across from that property that is literally covered trash with an uneven trailer with no windows. they have been here for generations, so many that when you buy a house in 95519, 40 bucks of the closing cost goes to them. when I asked why, I got no real answer.

  • What do you think happened to the social fabric of Crescent City after Pelican Bay was created? Connect the dots to the present.

  • Is that one of those plastic or cardboard sandwich boxes wrapped in cord? You would get a better Bang by dropping a Mentos in a bottle of diet soda and shutting the lids lol
