This ‘Affectionate and Smart’ Guy Needs a Good Home

This information is provided by Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get this dog into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

I am a neutered male, white Siberian Husky. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 10, 2018.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

THOR

This gorgeous all-white, blue-eyed husky is very personable and doesn’t have the aloofness often associated with the breed. But you can’t be afraid of big clouds of white fur! He is quite a shedder. He is great on a leash, affectionate, and smart. He sits on command and is very attentive and well-behaved. He doesn’t show much interest in treats, but is quite interested in meeting other dogs!

THOR

This is Thor’s 2nd time at the shelter- he was brought back by his adopter for typical husky behavior, the penchant for escaping and a fondness for chasing wildlife. He’s a real looker, with his luxuriant white coat and piercing blue eyes! He is quite personable and very curious, and an easy leash walker. He is quite affectionate but has a little bit of husky-aloofness, and is rather indifferent to treats. A great dog for one who understands huskies and their behavior!

Reminds me of Ofi Tohbi, the white dog who saved the Choctaw people while we traveled to the new home place.

They need to get their story straight. First he doesn’t show the typical aloofness of his breed but then in the next paragraph, he does.
