[UPDATE 3:10 p.m.: Found] Three Bikers Lost in Kings Range Area
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Special Services team is assisting the Bureau of Land Management in searching for three lost bikers in the Kings Range area in the southwestern part of the county. The Sheriff’s Twitter account states that the exact area the hikers are lost is unknown but possibly they could be in the “Rattlesnake Ridge area.”
The account stated, “We are searching for three males, one in his 50’s, two others are reportedly 18 years old.” The three were biking in the area, according to the person who reported them missing but they may also have been hiking, too.
If anyone has any information, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251.
