‘Plays in the Park’s 24-Hour Play Festival’ is August 18th

Arcata, CA – Actors, writers and directors needed! The City of Arcata Recreation Division, North Coast Repertory Theatre and the Theatre Development Project, A DreamMaker Program of the Ink People Center for the Arts are proud to announce Plays in the Park’s 24-Hour Play Festival! The 24-Hour Play Festival is an opportunity for community members of all ages to get together to write, direct and perform original theatrical works in a 24-hour timeframe. This event is free and open to all who wish to participate, regardless of experience in the dramatic arts. Participants are asked to meet at the Redwood Park Stage Area in Arcata at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 18. Actors, writers and directors will have 24-hours to create and showcase their works at Park Fest on Sunday, August 19 at 2 p.m. Interested participants can email [email protected] for more information.
