REMINDER: Plays in the Park’s ‘The Legend of Merlin’ at Redwood Park Today, August 5th and 12th

Arcata, CA – Arcata Recreation Division’s Plays in the Park is happy to announce that the North Coast Repertory Theatre (NCRT) and Theatre Development Project, A DreamMaker Program of the Ink People Center for the Arts are now partnering to co-produce Plays in the Park. All partners are proud to announce upcoming performances for Plays in the Park’s presentation of The Legend of Young Merlin.

Plays in the Park are live theater performances that take place under the redwoods and the open sky in beautiful Redwood Park, with performances focusing free family shows, opera and the works of Shakespeare.

The Legend of Young Merlin is a family-friendly story of identity, tolerance, discovery and dragons written by Humboldt County author, Pamela F. Service. The play, directed by Alex Service, will be performed on Sunday; July 29, August 5 and August 12. All performances will take place at 2 p.m. the Redwood Park Stage Area in Arcata, and are free and open to the public.
