On July 26, 2018, Special Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office and a narcotic detection K9 with the District Attorney’s Office, served a search warrant on a vehicle being driven by suspected narcotics trafficker, Mitchell Aguiar (age 26).
Agents have been investigating Aguiar for several weeks and were able to identify him as a narcotics dealer in Humboldt County. At approximately 4:00 p.m., agents conducted a traffic stop on Aguiar along Highway 101 near the Kenmar exit, Fortuna. After being alerted by the K9, agents discovered a false compartment within the vehicle. A search of this compartment yielded just over 6 pounds of suspected heroin. The heroin was packaged for sales. Aguiar was subsequently placed under arrest for the following charges:

H&S 11352(a) – Transportation of a controlled substance
H&S 11379(b) – Transportation of a controlled substance from one county to another noncontiguous county
H&S 11 366 .8(a) – Fabrication of a false compartment within a vehicle
VC 12500(a) – Driving unlicensedAguiar was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked on the above charges.
Agents then served a search warrant at a motel located in the 1900 block of Broadway, Eureka. Aguiar rented a room at this location and agents located additional packaging material, digital scales, and other items associated with narcotic sales.

He’ll be deported and back in the States again in no time with a whole new load.
He won’t even be handed over to ice, let alone deported, if he is here illegally. And if he was I’m sure there would be a huge protest talking about how racist the police department is. Lol

If there wasn’t a bunch of white people using heroin, then there wouldn’t be a demand… nationality or illegal makes no difference who’s importing it to the addicts. It wouldn’t make a difference if it was some white heroin supplier. Plenty of mentally ill racist addicts still buying from Mexicans. All the white drug-addict heroin babies being born by white women is astoundingly high every 25min’s a baby suffers from opioid withdrawal Fact. Go get an education to help or volunteer if you really care.
So I guess it’s ok to break multiple laws if you have Brown skin? The color of his skin has nothing to do with it. If he was a white guy from Candida here illegaly I would say the same thing.
Of course it makes a difference who is supplying what to whom. It’s hard enough to stop home grown illegal drugs but imported drugs should be easier to interdict if the State was not full of such nonsense as official sanctuary. Mexico is suffering from drug addiction too. And, despite trying to protect illegal immigrants by calling any realistic view of the drug trade racist, it damages all races without regard to their color.
That comment is itself racist seeking a crass political advantage. That anyone who even has the goal of providing protected status to illegals of one supposed racial group is a clearly racist.
Now he’s documented

Good job LEO’S. Keep that garbage off the streets. 25 years should do!
$60,000 wholesale?
Awesome! Keep it up. It’s a good start.
Another banned and very toxic product of Mexico…
Great job DTF, now get some Meth off the streets, while you’re warmed up!!!
Good!
isn’t it nice to see our tax dollars working in a way other than busting weed. At least some lawdogs have the balls to go toe to toe with big boys which is more dangerous to deal with the H and meth, rather than growers. Good job and cudos to cops with some balls
Tough guy dealer of death can’t look at the camera. Maybe he’s too worried that ‘the familia’ is coming for his real family. A debt is a debt, its got to get paid back somehow.
In the old days his family would get everything they needed from the crew while the person was locked up. Seriously, they took care of each other. The material loss was just written off as scrap. The incarcerated person would keep his mouth shut knowing that the family did not need anything. Nowadays they get shanked in the yard by a rival crew member.
” That is my stash for personal use, Officer!”
Yeah, he just has a real bad habit…
Personal use, yea, that’s the ticket. I keep it in separate bags so it doesn’t all get stale from opening the whole lot so many times.
Or
I was taught not to keep all your eggs in one basket.
Please keep this POS locked up.
Another win for Measure Z. Vote to extend Measure Z in November.
Why? There was a war on drugs and drugs won.
Walt Wilson,
If you bothered to get a copy, or online, of The County’s Annual Financial data, you wouldn’t be saying that.
‘What gets us into trouble is not what we don’t know. It’s what we know for sure that just ain’t so.’ -Mark Twain
Any news I don’t like is fake.
But…
US citizen, or Mexican National?
U.S. citizen? No comment.
That should have been stopped at the border to begin with. Pickin up the slack way north.
Good job!
Just tell me this guy wasnt booked and released please!
He’s Doing the jobs Americans don’t want to do
Wait a minute. The million-a-month extortion, unlawfully, and illegally (their own rules), carried out in all 7 incorporated cities of HumCo., was voted on (when it should never have seen the light of day), November 2014, and went into effect April 1, 2015 for five years. You’re telling me, Walt, that it’s up for the voting herd again this November? Surely this dastardly deed could be put in the drawer until more people shake off their chains.
They want to get it approved without the current sunset provision.
I can’t stand drug dealers. They are a deadly growth on our society. Want to sentence him, make him eat it! Thank you local police officers for nailing his rear. WELL DONE!!!
It is amazing to me that not one in 1000 people actually know anything about heroin that they did not learn from the DEA which has lied to you about drugs for the entire life of the agency.
DO SOME REAL RESEARCH
Buddy this is Humboldt, 9 out of 10 people have some experience between family members with problems or Friends or personal use. If you don’t know someone who has oded you probably aren’t even a local. I’ve known and been related to several heroin addicts and with time the drugs turned all of then into a POS.
Who needs stinkin’ facts?
I don’t particularly want to know about heroin. When I first saw the photo with the baggies, I had no idea what I was looking at. And no, I’m not a sheep. I’ll have a beer, smoke a joint, and I,m good.
Most of you guys are a bunch of idiots. Prohibition has never worked and the only way to win the drug war is through legalization. Arresting this guy isn’t going to do shit. Someone will always be there to take his place, unless we reform our drug laws, make everything legal and regulated, and start affordable treatment programs for drug addicts that want to get clean. The people he was supplying aren’t going to quit either, just find another source. Almost everyone you know uses some kind of drug weather it is caffeine, weed, zoloft, or heroin.
The drug war is and always will be a failure. It is sad that law enforcement has to deal with this kind of thing. Treatment, not punishment.
Tell that to that poor Serbian girl who was drugged, sex trafficked and strangled right here in Fortuna and ended up dead at 24 on Riverwalk Drive.
I spoke to the coroner. She had drugs in her system but he said there was no evidence of violence.
Pretty girls become drug addicts too, she over-dosed. Seems foreigners don’t know how dangerous the local drug scene is especially combined w/ alcohol. If she was un-attractive, you all would of been making derogatory drug-addict jokes. Was suspicious until the coroner report was completed.
Or we could hunt them down like the animals they are and use the death penalty and I mean actually use it in a timely manner.
you’re psychotic
Crack juice!
Good, it never made it to the heroin house in Hydesville.
Didn’t know there was a heroin house in hydesville
good job dtf
keep it up
Wow. Just WOW! Saw this going down and took a very short (crappy) video as I passed. Knew it was something BIG because all vehicles were unmarked except for one CHP.
Where is this shit coming from!!?? So glad it is off the streets!!
Where is this shit coming from!!??
It comes from little villages in Mexico where the most profitable crop is a drug, that gets exported illegally, by criminals for a handsome profit. certainly you can get your head around that concept.
Fry him… That s**t has got to go!
The more of this stuff that is taken off the streets, the better! Thank you, officers!
HUMBOLDT COUNTY SHERIFF MAKIN’ AMERICA GREAT AGAIN !!! AFTER PRISON DEPORT HIS ASS!!! AND ALL YOU MAGA HATERS SUCK IT !!!
