Humboldt Light Opera Company Presents the Wizard of Oz at HSU’s Van Duzer Theatre
This is a press release from the Humboldt Light Opera Company:
HLOC (Humboldt Light Opera Company) is celebrating 45 years of local quality musical theatre by bringing back The Wizard of Oz to HSU’s Van Duzer Theatre. Shows will be presented on weekends August 3-19.
We are especially grateful to our local sponsors and individual donors who have made this extraordinary show possible. Our cast members can’t fly across the stage without a lot of support!
We invite you to join with us and reminisce and possibly introduce young people to this classic show as we go “Off to See the Wizard!”

Nice opportunity to see an American classic on stage!
And a last chance to use the Van Duzer before it’s long awaited earthquake retrofitting. It will be closed for quite a while.
This is the story of The Federal Reserve?
It is the story of the privately owned foreign corporation labeled Federal Reserve.
However, HSU would never let that basic fact of the story be portrayed.
A double whammy! We get to see The Wizard of Oz AND celebrate HLOCs 45th birthday! Life is a beautiful thing!
