Yikes
Knee deep water? We’re gonna need a smaller boat!
Best comment. Shut down the thread.

Thank you!
Agreed
Aaaaaand, we have a winner.
Everyone else, thanks for playing.
My son in law helped carry her out of the water. He warned them. Should have listened to my son in law!
People act like we don’t have sharks here, folks warm weather, warm water.. brings sharks! Be thankful it wasn’t fatal! Glad the woman is ok.
The baby Salmon Shark was washing up on shore as it was dying. The woman went up to it to take a picture and it rolled over got her foot. She only needed a couple stickers from what we heard….I think its safe to go back in the water….
How do I look her up on instagram? I want to see the selfie of her screaming.
🤣😂🤣😂
thanks for sharing. i thought the authorities killed the shark.
Ladies, don’t go in the water when you’re bleeding.
58-year-old wasn’t bleeding, unless she’d been bitten by something else!
Yep…
Knock off the misogyny [edit]! How did this get posted?
What is so misogynist about the comments? I don’t understand you.
Though not the most tasteful comments, I suppose the fact that the sky is blue is now racist?
She was in the water “up to her knees.” It was sexist and totally unnecessary.
Only if you hate black or red skies, which are beautiful.
Misogynistic, inaccurate and a pathetic attempt to get attention.
Yep. And I’m still just “white”….
Only if you say the sky is black.
Poor baby shark 🦈
Geez, let the baby shark die in peace!
It stands to reason that had she left the wildlife alone she would have not been bitten. One stupid choice and she gets a little bite and the shark gets dead.
The shark was reported to be dying already and thus washing into shore.
Shark was already dying, and its 2018 you can call people stupid that suffer from mental disorders, like selfitis. She obviously could have that condition and we should be sending prayers and hoping she gets the treatment she needs.
Get some cannabis medicine.
She should get to take it home and cook it and make a necklace out of its teeth .
Wildlife is WILD people, keep your distance and be respectful or you get bit be it land or water and especially if the critter is already stressed.
Shark fin soup anyone?
That looks like a baby great white? Is that what it is? Wow
Dawn, I’m a serious feminist and I think you’re overreacting.
Yeah I’m not seeing the sexism in “up to her knees”. Sounds like a general term like “up to his knees”. I may be deplorable, but I am all about women’s right’s since I have 3 daughters and 3 granddaughters and oh yeah I’m a woman too.
The comment reads as objecting to the idea that a woman “up to her knees” in the ocean was certainly “in the water when she was bleeding.” Not the being “up to her knees” was sexist but blaming menes as a go to theory was.
You’re triggered to jump to the defense of a comment that implies a sixty year old woman was on her period. [edit]
Is that bad?
If she was getting close to the fish to get a picture as it was dying well then…I’m glad she got bit. People suck. I’ve seen them on different beaches around here hassling the seals, hassling the otters, hassling everything because they think they are so special and deserve to hassle these wild critters that we still have here. After decimating and destroying them all over the globe we have learned nothing. I’m glad when wildlife strikes back. What we need is LESS people, more wildlife.
Someone called 911 and requested an ambulance for this? Really?
For emergency brain surgery
Get an ambulance for the shark. Self-absorbed beachcombers get a bandaid.
I’d rather take my chances of staying on shore and getting bit by a rock… glad she’s ok
Was talking about surfing when this popped up …the ocean around here is it own world enter with caution..glad she’s OK..see you in water 😎..
Here’s your sign.
Yay so let’s just kill the shark too that’s how you make things better right?
Seriously, why harm the shark? He was just existing, humans invaded his territory, not the other way around.
One more time: shark was already dying and had washed up on shore when the woman went to take a picture, the shark rolled over and chomp.
