False Alarm for Boat Reported Sinking Under the Samoa Bridge

At approximately 12:35 p.m., emergency dispatch received a report of a boat sinking in Humboldt Bay near the first span of the Samoa Bridge. Emergency vehicles responded. The reporting person didn’t know if the boat was occupied.

When emergency personnel arrived on the scene, they were unable to locate the allegedly sinking boat.
