Wild Souls Ranch Receives Grant From Christine & Jalmer Berg Foundation

This is a press release from Wild Souls Ranch:

Wild Souls Ranch is excited to announce an extremely generous grant award from the Christine & Jalmer Berg Foundation out of Eureka, California.

The funds from this grant award will be used to purchase the much-needed ranch equipment it takes to run our newly acquired 17-acre leased ranch in Fortuna, fund our scholarship program, and help with our general operation costs of our non-profit organization.

Founder and Executive Director, Savanah, describes this award as one of great importance to Wild Souls Ranch, “Because of this belief in our program and the generous grant award we can truly focus on our current program development and provide even more services to local Humboldt County youth who have experienced trauma such as abuse or neglect. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity that the Christine & Jalmer Berg Foundation has given our organization this year.”

Wild Souls Ranch is a Therapeutic Equine Youth and Family Services non-profit agency in Humboldt County providing local at-risk youth with Equine Assisted Growth and Learning services, a Wraparound Program for children adopted out of Foster Care, and a supervised visitation program as well. This sounds like such a worthwhile cause that if I were rich I’d match that grant plus some.

Even a little bit can help. It all adds up.

Does anyone know what youngest age is to bring a child there.

Does anyone know if it costs money.

If it does, is a child in foster care eligible for free or reduced prices.
