[UPDATE 10:14 p.m.] Car Fire Near Crab Park Possibly Spreading to Vegetation

A vehicle is on fire near the entrance to Crab Park near Loleta, according to scanner traffic. At approximately 10 p.m., the fire was reported to have fully engulfed the vehicle.

“The fire is increasing and in danger of spreading,” according to a report from the scene.

UPDATE 10:14 p.m.: According to the Incident Commander, the vehicle is fully involved in flames but the fire is not spreading to the surrounding vegetation.
