Eureka Woman’s Club Holding Monthly ‘AfterWork Network Mixer’ Tomorrow
This is a press release from the Eureka Woman’s Club:
The Eureka Woman’s Club will have its monthly AfterWork Network Mixer on Wednesday, June 20th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the EWC Clubhouse located at 1531 J Street in Eureka. Please visit our website, call or email the Eureka Woman’s Club for more information about this and other upcoming events. www.eurekawomansclub.org, 707-442-3458, [email protected].
Stilson Snow will speak on ‘Business with heart: a few things they don’t teach you in business school.’ Entrepreneurship demands a wider range of creativity and skills than most employment does. Basically, owning a business is one more way of knowing and expressing one’s self. Success is as much about inner fulfillment as it is about the bottom line.
The Eureka Woman’s Club AfterWork Network is designed to fit the needs of women who can’t attend daytime meetings. We provide forums for socializing and business networking: a place where you can share the events of the day, be encouraged by response, advice, or solution to a problem, and benefit from our ongoing educational segments, all while supporting this historic club and its many community service projects.
The goals of the AfterWork Network are to increase membership of our Club, provide alternate meeting times for members unable to attend the traditional Wednesday afternoon meetings, and provide mentoring and support to all in Humboldt County, including those in the education, non-profit, and business communities.
Meetings are held at the Club on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (unless a holiday) at 5:30 pm.
