Old Coots on Scoots, McKinleyville Moose Lodge Raise $1,500 for Make-A-Wish Foundation

This is a press release from the Make-A-Wish Foundation:

Members of the Old Coots on Scoots Chapter #8 along with their President Gordon Huff Sr (far right) and McKinleyville Moose Lodge #208 Governor Ted Nelson present a check for $1,500 to Deni McFarland, local Wish Grantor with the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish foundation.  The Old Coots on Scoots group held a benefit dinner for Make-A-Wish at the McKinleyville Moose Lodge in April to help fund Wishes for local wish kids.  Make-A-Wish is fully funded by donations and events similar to this.  Make-A-Wish grants approximately 10 wishes per year to Humboldt and Del Norte County children. The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish would like to thank the Old Coots on Scoots, Chapter #8 and McKinleyville Moose Lodge #208 for their support for our local wish children.
