All adult dogs (6 months and older) are $50
Seniors (7 years and older) are, as always $35.
Puppies (less than 6 months) are $80.
The adoption application is one page. If you own your home you are good to go, if you rent, the Shelter will check with your landlord to see if it is ok for a dog to live at their rental.
Adoptable dogs are neutered or spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, temperment tested, and some dogs, thanks to Redwood Pals Rescue even have some dog obedience training classes under their belt!

That is not a cattle dog mix. That IS a Australian cattle dog. They are very valuable. There are ACD rescue groups on the web. It would be a shame to destroy that dog.

Don’t worry. The Country never does. They just trot out the threat when they get too crowded.
The only dogs they put down are ones that are uncontrollable in the extreme and I don’t know if they even do that.
